My friend @chigrl asked me about 'war fatigue' last week and I agreed with her, it's real. Quantitatively it shows up as $VIX closing the week the lowest since the Iran misadventure started.

@froggytrade Narrative following price so much this past month and a half, it has been continuously so over/so back depending on the last 48h of movement. Exhausting two way trading.

i imagine it's exhausting hearing the same stuff from me while we grind up all of yesterday and today - whether you think a sell is possible, everything i've said holds - that vulnerabilities are present and that hedging here makes a lot of sense. the outcome isn't the point here (though you'd never hear the end of it if i turned out right on pinned tweet lol); the point is that a lot has aligned here to suggest that if you aren't considering any scenario outside of the market going higher in a controlled matter you have a real chance of getting smoked. that flash sell today, regardless of the intention of the participants, is now tangible evidence visible to everyone (and maybe self-fulfilling) that shit can change on a dime, and it won't matter how amazing things looked before it, because these things don't have to introduce themselves, they just barge in

Right now price is bouncing back and forth between the point of control and VWAP. Respect $694 and $695 as your resistances for today. If we can hold below these two levels, should be a straight shot to $690 IMO. Hourly signal line and 30 min signal line both bearish telling us that short term momentum is downward. $SPY $SPX

@orrdavid decoupling with high beta equities and losing all hype/excitement (rvol has been crushed the last few days too). probably something something treasury trade dying as well.

Somehow in "Year of the Debasement Trade" Bitcoin is down while Silver and Gold went to the moon. Is the market flashing extreme warning signs on crypto here? The market often knows something early on intuitively, even if nobody knows the specifics.

@AuclairCapital @SilkLifeMedSpa I use dynafit boots because I tour a lot. Used to be on the Cochise 130 but Tigard 130 is better for me. Blizzard/Fischer skis, since I prefer something businesslike that gets me down in a stable and predictable manner.

@AuclairCapital @SilkLifeMedSpa Sounds crazy but I don't think there's been a massive change in ski boots since about 2019, and the most important factor is how comfortable they are. The 120-130 flex boots with a walk mode will let you ski as hard as pro athletes all day (source: 75d/yr skier).
