What does at least “two native Indian languages” mean? Will all CBSE schools in Delhi be able to offer, say Assamese or Telugu, if a child chooses either of these? Do schools have the capacity to comply? Or will students be forced to learn whatever language is feasible for the school given staffing situation? CBSE needs to stop making these last-minute changes, which the system is clearly ill-equipped to cater to and which add unnecessary stress on young minds & families.

Railway authorities block BWSSB from fixing sewage leak. In the name of a unified national railway, we have created an awful situation where central bodies feel no responsibility to be part of problem-solving in their local areas.
This is just over-reach of the idea of centralisation. It is just the operations of the railway itself that is centralised, not every brick and drop within railway premises. That should remain fully subject to local jurisdiction and authority.
Reform of railways is long overdue. If states had been able to develop their own networks, we would by now have broader coverage and faster trains, and be better able to integrate rail with other mobility planning.

Karnataka has been 'allotted' 1100+ medical college seats! Both INC and BJP have centralised governance so much that a state government doesn't have the right to decide how much it can promote medical education in the state. They are instead forced to participate in a 'national average' scheme that penalises better-performing states by insisting that they should not be much higher than the rest! Bizarre.
