@JD72387 Toxi lead, double dragon in the back. It’s not some secret team haha. I run into the mirror about 30% of the time above 2500. But you can also run dragon, Toxi, dragon. It’s all about learning when to swap out and when to shield that makes the difference.

@jerryqiao Toxi used as a swap? Any mons need to watch out for? I’ve been stuck in the 2700’s for weeks now.

65-14-1 run from 2280s to 3050 to hit legend in Fighting Cup. Double dragon is a cheat code and I don’t regret powering up the only two Jangmo’o I ever caught and spending hundreds of RC on it. Also:

@JD72387 Toxi but I think any fighter would do honestly. It’s the dragons who do almost all the work. Toxi just has the closing power with Sludge Bomb on the bug fighters and Mud Bomb for the mirrors.

@Jason2890PoGo @WallowerPoGo Correct. The system is still the same, but to trigger that enhanced point deltas, it just takes longer. A friend of mine went 4-1 3x a day and 0-5 twice and got the boosted point gains with 3 weeks left last season. Could probably get it sooner w/ only 5-0s and 0-5s.

@WallowerPoGo AFAIK their “fix” for the streaking gains/losses was just to remove the “battle til you win!” feature so people can’t increase variance enough over a short period of time to trigger the enhanced gains/losses. I don’t believe they actually changed the rating system.

I've seen the fact that GBL runs off of the "Glicko-2" rating system parroted around here a lot. I was under the impression that it was determined to be the Glicko-2 system due to increased gains and losses when streaking which has been removed iirc. Is it not just Elo now?

@luvrhino Yeah, I had the last four letters on my second guess and got lucky on guess 6 but even then, it came down to a 50/50 with one other variant. Definitely a scary one!

@jerryqiao @keithedward07 It sucked being two words in an already being doomed to possibly losing, despite being cognizant of traps of common letter combinations like SHA-E the other day.

Both Globle and Worldle were absolutely unfair today. I will take no further questions.

@keithedward07 You can tell by the * in their score that is hard mode on Wordle, which is where you have to use the letters you've guessed in the previous word. So once you've trapped yourself with those last 4 letters, you can only guess different words one at a time.

@BattleridgeCap @minakimes I keep seeing them like this. Instead of guessing the word on your last four tries why not guess a word you know is not right but will use more of the letters that it might be?
