In 2024 we did 230 rentals with an average rental of $291 excluding deliveries and extra fees. In 2025 we did 199 rentals but our average rental went up to $417 excluding delivery and any other fees. 2025 we sold our units that weren’t making any money and brought in units that did, we also capped our weekends so we didn’t kill ourselves. I believe 2026 we will have an even higher per rental and more rentals than we’ve ever had. Bring in the 2026 Bounce House season!

Training the next generation today. My leads twin boys are on spring break so they wanted to work for me this week. Both kids have a great work ethic so I’m happy to have them.

What a great start to the week. Finished the day with $2,700 in revenue and was home by 3 PM. I think you’d be hard pressed to find another solo owner operator business model that can do consistent days like this. It’s not much, but it’s an honest work🤝

@jeshoopes @eevblog That goes both ways. Household hardware and bicycle parts are 90% counterfeit on Amazon. Zero consequences to the seller as well.

As a seller on Amazon, the return rate is crazy. What do people do, buy a multimeter, measure something and then return it?

If I were to start purchasing metals…. Where is the best place to find them? Do people legit just go to pawn shops and find silver and gold scraps? This is a genuine question by the way. Have never looked into it.

@HSchenewark I do like having a smart watch when I’m working outside and around the yard because I usually feel it on my wrist before I feel it or hear it in my pocket.

Funny how everyone says all you have to do to succeed in blu-collar biz is answer the phone. I missed 4 calls yesterday. What they don’t say is how hard it is to hear your phone ring when you’re running a leaf blower or even when the propane is going and you’re pushing loud metal wheels across a parking lot. I did call all of them back though.

@907Greggg It does, so for my area I will charge $65 to $150 depending on where it’s at but that includes setting it up and coming back out at the end of the day to deflate, roll up and haul away.

@jeshoopes When you say delivery does that also include set up and break down?

At the time this was a BIG purchase for us. We didn’t know if we could even rent it and move it. As soon as it was delivered we set it up and took pictures and listed it! It QUICKLY became our top renter. We started to realize what people actually wanted and how much they are willing to pay for it. Unit cost us about $2300 We rent it for $435 + delivery We’ve rented this about 40 times so far and going into our third year with it.
