A document from the first, 3-million-page batch of the Epstein files – released by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) on January 30th, 2026 – reveals a disturbing email exchange from 2013 between former technical advisor to billionaire “philanthropist” Bill Gates, Boris Nikolic, and convicted sex offender, human trafficker and reported Israeli intelligence agent, Jeffrey Epstein, in which the two men use colonial-era metaphors to discuss a strategy for making Nigerians who resist Western NGO-funded vaccination drives more… cooperative. The Gates Foundation has operated in Africa for over two decades, with the claimed mission of “saving lives, tackling infectious diseases, and lifting people out of poverty”. The net benefits of its “investments” in the continent over these two plus decades, however, have been debatable at best. And perhaps this shouldn’t be surprising, given the sort of company its founder keeps.
