@RachelLippert This way in NL too. It is essentially the worst of all possible worlds, because there aren't anymore permanent positions and it is generally easier for an institution to just cycle through staff.

This is insane. Basically Germany has now said that postdoc contracts cannot last longer than three years, and after that, they have to be offered permanent positions (of which no one proposed how to generate). Even my own position now would seemingly be illegal. 🤦🏻‍♀️🙈

@howieeday @TheSpaceshipper @StasisGame Feel like this has been a problem since DS9 though. The battle scenes are cool but everything zips around like fighters and explodes easily. Should be more ships trading blows, weathering damage for a while before retreating. We see that all the time with single ship encounters.
