Education-less optimist using AI to build boring businesses and hunt insane upside. Bullish on the future. Bullish on nuclear.

Not a single annoying tourist in sight. No yelling. No cocktails. No STDs. No "tencho" music. No American or British chicks with sunburns, screaming and getting drunk, asking for a cig. Just silence.

Bought some YES for very little money in case the silly thing happens, @Polymarket don't disappoint
J trader@jtrader

🚨 THE BIGGEST ORACLE DISPUTE IN @Polymarket HISTORY $79M is frozen on Polymarket. A simple yes/no about MicroStrategy. A rule edited at 1pm the day after. The rule: "MSTR sells any Bitcoin by May 31, 2026?" Three sentences. Nothing about when confirmation has to arrive. What happened: MSTR sold 32 BTC between May 26-31. T heir 8-K filing went public June 1, dating the sale "as of May 31, 4:00 PM ET." So MSTR sold before the deadline. Their own filing says so. On paper, this was a YES. Then at 1pm ET on June 1: sixteen hours after the deadline. Polymarket added a new sentence: "Confirmation achieved outside the timeframe does not qualify." A sentence added after they knew the answer. YES collapsed below $0.01. The detail nobody can explain: the same MSTR question runs on three deadlines. → Sells by June 30 → YES ✅ → Sells by Dec 31 → YES ✅ → Sells by May 31 → NO ❌ Same 8-K. Same source. Three different answers. The market is in active dispute and resolves in the next 10 hours. What do you think it should resolve: YES or NO?

Where is the best place to spend a month in Europe for the summer? Ideally: - On some body of water so you can swim easily (No paris or london) - Near or in city so you can still enjoy people and things other than swimming - Not overrun by tourists, but still has tourists so there are things to do (No Barca for this reason) - Affordable so you aren't spending bananas like $3000 a night (No Lake Como/Saint Tropez)

@geekvsmachine @moizali that is true, however when it's 35 degrees (celsius) a breeze is always welcome!

@jewprobablyknow @moizali It’s all windswept on the coast north of Lisbon though. Cascais is protected. The Algarve faces South, so I imagine it’s a great spot, too.

@theSamMorrow @b_nnett past whoop history is gated by whoop, we can only get what's on the device I believe. Apple Health activities should be able to be added, haven't tinkered with that yet.

@zzwitz Would you know what the limit is for roaming downloads without a second tap?

the size of your app is a BIG part of your install rate and most teams have never even thought about it... ios shows the file size on the product page. it also shows a 'download over cellular' warning if the app is over 200mb. when I was at Uber, there was a whole team dedicated to shaving 25mbs off the file every quarter... apps under 200mb install in one tap on cellular. apps over 200mb require an extra confirmation. apps over 500mb often get deferred to 'when you connect to wifi' and forgotten. most subscription apps don't think about this until they're well over the threshold. video assets, ml models, unused frameworks, debug symbols, oversized images: they all add up. the fix is unglamorous: app thinning, on-demand resources, removing dead code. teams that drop below the 200mb cellular threshold typically see 5-15% install rate lifts on cellular traffic, which can be 30-50% of paid acquisition installs, depending on geography.
