@bea_johanssen @LadyColinCampb His late mother didn't throw a party for 1000 muslims thus dramatically raising the expectations of every other religious group. He now needs to do the same for every other group on that scale. Christmas, Easter, Holi, Diwali, Gurpurbs, Hola Mohalla... the lot, 1000 ppl a time.

A pity that you failed to point out that the King's observance of Easter this year was as it is every year - and no different to his late mother's. Pandering to those who seek to subsume the monarchy into a race war narrative to make a few bucks says far more about you than CIII.

Having received a multitude of complaints about King Charles III's failure to mark the most important day in the Christian calendar, the day of Resurrection, despite having marked Ramadan and Eid, and having recognised that his Christian subjects' just concerns should be listened to and acted upon when doing so costs very little and will reap dividends above and beyond the effort expended, while failing to do so might ultimately prove to be irreversibly damaging, I hope he will begin listening to the complaints of his subjects, and not fall prey to the error which his first cousins three times removed, Tsar Nicholas II and the Tsarina Alexandra, made in the months before February 1917. Had Nicholas and Alexandra simply listened to the valid concerns of their subjects, rather than ignoring them in the mistaken belief that they were too trivial to warrant attention, all that happened after February 1917 might well have been averted. While resolve is a valuable quality in a leader, pigheadedness is not. Unless The King begins to listen to the concerns his Christian subjects have that he is promoting the interests of Islam over those of Christianity, he runs the risk of unnecessarily alienating the very people who are a cornerstone in the edifice of his Crown. I do appreciate that Easter addresses have not been a traditional part of the Monarch's remit, but since addresses relating to Ramadan and Eid have not been either, he might consider that the virtue of evenhandedness will prevent many of the problems that are arising when the Supreme Governor of the Church of England neglects to mark the most important day of his Church's calendar while having marked similarly significant dates in the Islamic calendar. And let's not forget Diwali. He managed to mark that too. All very noble and inclusive and a means of showing respect for others' faiths, but let's also not forget that charity starts at home, and before one endows others with one's largesse, it might be sensible to apportion an appropriate degree of attention closer to home. Otherwise one runs the risk of taking for granted those whom one should not be ignoring, and whom one might ignore at one's own peril.

@_stonyd @Telegraph @mattmellberg No it hasn't. It has been majority British until very recently. Had Birmingham stayed 80%+ British it would be a great place to be. Multiculturalism is a cancer, and it kills everything. The people who came in the 60's and 70's also have to go. Integration is a myth.

@amas515 @lyndall19414 @HoodedClaw1974 Arabs did worse. Look at the copts, druze, yazidi, zorostrians hanging by a thread. No Jews left. Christians and Hindus persecuted in Pakistan. Worst slave trade in history. I would sooner accept a moral lecture from a cannibal tribe than a muslim Arab.

This is exactly the wrong understanding of Islam. You are in Australia and you raped land that was never yours in the first place. What do you say about that? The Epstein files have shown only a small part of the inhuman practices of the biggest Western figures, the financial and political decision makers, along with Christian and Jewish religious leaders in a way that has never happened before in all of history.

Completely wrong understanding of Islam. Giuliani says that he has been studying Islam since he was 19 years old, I am sure that he studied it from people who hate Islam. Islam means peace. Only the rational and fair minded people know this and appreciate it. As for the rest, they have no influence on Islam or on Muslims.

I’m counting down the days until my wife & I flee this moribund, 3rd world shithole you’re inept, corrupt & traitorous ilk have turned the UK into. September can’t come soon enough. It’s ironic that the company I currently work for are struggling to find an engineer with the skills, qualifications & experience I have for me to mentor & train before I leave the failed, STAZI state of Britain. Taking my extortionate taxes & seemingly irreplaceable skills & qualifications with me. The billionaires & multi millionaires have fled, now it’s the turn of the ambitious & skilled ‘Middle Classes’ to flee.

Predictions are coming in for Birmingham City council which could plausibly see a coalition of Islamic independent councillors, Green councillors and Workers party councillors take overall control of Birmingham. If that happens it can set a precedent for many other cities, towns and locations across the U.K. That would be devastating for our democracy and the political landscape. We don’t know what the actual vote will be but given the recent rise of Independent candidates locally and at national level who back these causes plus the alliance between the Greens and the Muslim vote group as demonstrated by the result in Gorton & Denton it’s becoming increasingly likely. You NEED to get off your arse and vote against it.

“I think they’ve been misled.” This is what obsessive hatred of the world’s only Jewish state looks like. The Islamic Republic has killed, kidnapped and tortured tens of thousands of its own people. The political Right is literally falling out with itself over who does and doesn’t support British Jews. The Jew-hating English Ethno nationalists are turning on civic nationalists and there will come a time when there is a clear and unresolvable split among the two groups.

Theyll likely take an island- maybe the whole island. An actual moat. There wont be frontlines. I’d guess Qeshm but that may be too large and ambitious, but that may be the one they end up with. Maybe something smaller, more defensible, similar location. Freshwater and airport possible. If they want a permanent base, airfield, its Qeshm but not sure what to do with the 150k citizens and it’s likely a longer and bigger commitment than what they are looking for.

@Esiotroggoth @AaronBastani The US has wargamed this for at least 20 years and Iran have been preparing for decades too. For USA it comes down to percieved risk vs benefits. Many seem to assume they never expected bases to be hit, but it is more likely they just accepted that as one of the risks.
