What if @claudeai could get a second opinion before writing your code? I made Claude Code automatically consult OpenAI's Codex before approving any plan. Two competing models reviewing each other = way better output. Just updated the skill with @OpenAI 5.4 model. link below.

@coastalelite00 @CaitforNewYork @lawler4ny Hot take: serving in the Biden White House working on real national security matters, probably inside a SCIF all day, is somehow a character flaw because she didn’t step out to curate a partisan resume. Governing is the point. Box checking is not. DC could use more of that.

@CaitforNewYork @lawler4ny Ok, but we are still wondering why you weren’t a Democrat until recently. Mike being a weasel doesn’t change that.

.@lawler4ny -- if you want to compare what we've been up to since 2007, happy to play that game. While I was on six overseas deployments protecting our democracy, you were busy cashing political consulting checks. I fought like hell to ensure the American military remains an apolitical institution — but I guess understanding the importance of keeping it apolitical would actually take values and patriotism... not surprised you’re struggling to get it.
Mike Lawler@lawler4ny

Not for nothing, but if you are gonna ask people to switch parties and vote for you in a primary, it might actually help if you yourself did that… As we learned last week, you didn’t register to vote as a Democrat until you decided to move to New Castle (not Ossinging!) and hardly voted in a midterm election since 2007. But hey, at least you outraised @BethDavidson17, by a lot!

@VasiliyZukanov @dmwlff Compilers are reliable and we still treat human-written code as the source of truth. If LLMs reach that reliability, the source of truth is still the human spec, just higher level. The thing that disappears is humans nostalgically diffing machine-generated glue code.

@jfeinblum @dmwlff You contradict yourself: compilers are fully reliable and stable today, yet we cherish the source code as the source of truth. So, my question still stands: if LLMs becomes as deterministic as compilers, what's the source of truth we're going to work with?

This new model is something else. Since Sonnet 4.5, I've been tracking how long I can get the agent to work autonomously. With Opus 4.5, this is starting to routinely stretch to 20 or 30 minutes. When I come back, the task is often done—simply and idiomatically.
Claude@claudeai

Our engineers have found that Opus 4.5 handles ambiguity and reasons about tradeoffs without hand-holding. When pointed at a complex, multi-system bug, it figures out the fix. Overall, Opus 4.5 just "gets it."

@VasiliyZukanov @dmwlff Source of truth is wherever the reliability is. If the model becomes as predictable as a compiler, nobody’s gonna nostalgia-debate prompt diffs.

@dmwlff We don't check the compiler output because we store, track and review the source code, which is the "source of truth". What's the source of truth in your utopian world? Are we gonna store, track and review the prompts?! 😜

Love seeing the energy and passion in this race — it’s what democracy’s all about. That said… if we’re talking about proven fighters, @CaitForNewYork’s got a resume that includes actual battlefields. Hudson Valley’s got some tough choices — and one of them knows how to handle incoming.

Winning this race is going to take broad, deep and authentic grassroots support and a history of winning tough fights and delivering for the Hudson Valley. I’m blown away by the support our campaign has generated while securing 150+ endorsements along the way. The people of #NY17 are sending a powerful message: they want a proven fighter, someone who’s already beaten Republicans in purple territory and knows how to deliver real results for Hudson Valley families.

My mom has been a Postal Worker for 47 years in the Hudson Valley. I have seen her put in the hard work, the long days, to literally deliver for this community So proud of her and all the postal workers across #NY17. #NationalPostalWorkersDay

@MetaQuestHelp, I’m uncomfortable being asked to pay for an out-of-warranty replacement for a controller when the hardware works but a software update prevents the headset from recognizing it. This feels irresponsible and inappropriate. Is this really the only answer?

@synthesiaIO doing a trial - spent an hour creating a video about the work my company does; it got flagged for political content. Tried to reach out to support, chat bot is stuck on "still thinking." Is this a common issue with your moderation system, anything that can be done?

I won’t repeat everything the anti-Israel students said to tonight’s guest speaker at @MIT, Prof. Shahar @Kvatinsky. But there’s one thing I can’t stop thinking about: They took nine pizzas. First a student took four pizzas, left, and came back to call the veteran professor a “murderer” and the rest of us “a bunch of people apologizing for him.” “This is bullshit,” she said, “you all should not be able to talk about sexual assault like authorities on the topic.” A second student took two pizzas, and a third student took three more. The first student stormed out with her comrades, calling us “brainless morons” (in Tamil, for some reason) and raised a fist to say “Free Palestine.” Those nine pizzas will definitely free Palestine.

If anyone is curious what foreign disinformation campaigns look like, you can see the same message being peddled non-stop. Have a good time and ask yourself how many Elon Musk parody accounts can possibly follow a user? The real @elonmusk please get rid of this type of garbage.
Robbie Rae@RobbieRae77

@zianna_j @wendyp4545 Joe Manchin also said something like things will be different after this weekend. I didn't give it another thought but now I'm curious what he meant.

@jinhao @JustinB90072145 @HarazGhanbari That said, even at 1/4000 an AR-15 bullet would travel about 9 inches during the shot at 3,000 feet per second. You’d see a clear streak but can still spot the bullet if the conditions are right.

@jinhao @JustinB90072145 @HarazGhanbari Doug Mills shoots with a Sony A1, which has a max shutter speed of 1/32,000 second. In bright outdoor lighting, this camera could absolutely capture a bullet fired from an AR-15. Timing and conditions are crucial, but the A1’s capabilities make it possible.

@JustinB90072145 @HarazGhanbari At 1/8000 to 1/16000 of a second, an AR-15 bullet, traveling around 3,000 ft/s, moves about 2.25 to 4.5 inches. So, yes, it can definitely catch a bullet in action.

Bullshit. No one will rover over and surrender America to a dictator bc of the actions of a crazy person. Who told him to pump his fists twice? Fuck that shit. There is a fight for what America will be and I’m not surrendering it to a fascist. All the facts must be known. #Kristalnicht happened too. Beware of what could come next.
Steve Schmidt@SteveSchmidtSES

The political consequences of this assassination attempt will be immense, and they will benefit Donald Trump, who just responded to being shot in the exact same way that Teddy Roosevelt did.

@jfeinblum @MalcolmNance When Josh? This group has allowed 390 million guns to be unleashed on our country. They made money selling guns and violence. Thoughts and prayers, they say. We need to move on, they say. I don't care, do you?, they say. ENOUGH.
