1. I love the new Equals site.
2. Double love that they did a public feedback session. Not enough of this kind of performance-based info these days.
3. Just for funsies, I made a video giving a little feedback on the feedback.

@eleven_ty I'm wondering if there is a way to use the Nunjucks engine within a universal filter (I need to render an include based on the content, and need the global data and filters available). I've hacked around setting up my own env, with filters, but can't figure out data.
English

@eleven_ty Oh, very good point! Wasn't considering passing a higher level object. That'll probably work just fine.
It's Friday, right?
English

@jfentress Maybe I’m not understanding but I’m pretty sure you can pass global data, same as any other data.
English

Does anyone know if it's possible to access @eleven_ty data values from shortcodes or filters? I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
English

@eleven_ty I can accomplish this in a nunjucks macro, but it's much messier than using something like posthtml. Could potentially use a shortcode to format things into a format that is much easier for a find and replace to handle in nunjucks.
Apologies for the spit-balling. Thank you!
English

@eleven_ty Ah, very helpful. Thank you!
For clarity, I'm looking to grab global data for my use case. And that data can't be passed directly. I want to pass an html string, which will then be parsed by the shortcode to locate an ID (CMSes are fun!), and use that ID to lookup specific data.

@matt_lehman Was pretty pleased with midtown printing and saw some gold foil examples while I was there (was several years back, however).

@dijital_nomad For sure! About half our team is remote (I'm in Nashville).
English

@jfentress Hi Jacob,
Is remote working option available?
Thank you!

@Yoona8_ @cameronmoll Hi Elena. I can't promise anything, but would love to know a little more about you — a resumé, link to personal site, etc would be a great place to start. My DMs are open.
