This may not be a big deal to you but the ability for me to use my real voice is a very big deal to me.

Had my first phone conversation using a laptop and @ElevenLabs technology. It was slow but it worked very well. It’s very hard losing your ability to speak. 💔

It’s a shame what happened to Esports Insider. Flooding the website with gambling content was definitely the first nail in the coffin of what used to be an excellent news outlet.

Not the news I was expecting, but as of today, my role at Esports Insider is at risk of redundancy. While this is extremely disappointing, it does mean that I am actively looking for a new place to call home, whether it's writing or a move to PR. RTs/leads appreciated!

My laryngectomy has been pushed to next week because at the eleventh hour the anesthesiologist decided, "Oh, we need a stress test before we can do the operation." Kind of sucks, and I had to check into the hospital overnight anyways, so I am stuck in Boston until tomorrow afternoon. It's 70 degrees out today here but I missed it because I'm half naked in a hospital gown on the 11th floor. BTW the staff at Mass General are amazing. I'm glad I am here; it is the best possible care I can get in New England.

@charlieINTEL That’s not what the settlement says. Here are the relevant terms from the public settlement document. Essentially: Epic won’t criticize Google for doing the things we agreed they could do when we agreed to settle together.

Epic Games CEO has signed an agreement with Google that he cannot criticize the company again till at least 2032 The agreement is part of Google & Epic Games settlement over the Google Play Store commission rules [via The Verge]

So happy to have @TheUrbanShep doing some work here and there for @TEAdvocated. It's a reunion of sorts for me, even though i'm out of the mix right now. Give it a read.
