@JohnBarchard I love AJ but after seeing his lack of effort all year and constant issues off the field we would be better to move on and try to get something while we can. Only if Howie can make the cap hit worth it.

He might not be traded, but we are kidding ourselves if that doesn't factor into the "best" OCs coming here.

@EliotShorrParks Trash play caller. Honestly might have been worse that Potato!!!

Zac Robinson is a good candidate for the Eagles OC job and is interviewing per ESPN
My thoughts:
** Robinson has called plays for two years. That’s obviously a major bonus and borderline requirement for this job considering they fired the last two OCs that didn’t have play calling experience after just one year.
** I like that he has coached multiple positions on offense and his background is in the passing game. Has coaches quarterbacks, receivers and was the pass-game coordinator for the Rams. Also a former quarterback.
** Has gotten pretty good results out of an offense with inconsistency at quarterback, shifting between Cousins and Penix in his two years in Atlanta. Two very different quarterbacks in terms of experience and Robinson found a way to move the ball with both (top 15 in yards both years)
** His experience with working with an elite, No. 1 RB in Bijan Robinson is a good sign of his ability to get the most out of Saquon Barkley (and for the Eagles to eventually get Bijan)
** A positive that he has worked under Sean McVay
** Only 39-years old but has been in the NFL since 2010 as either a player or coach. Great experience for a young age.
** Obvious downside is he could be a HC candidate in a year but Eagles just have to live with that

@JohnBarchard God no!!!! I've watched every Falcons game he has coached and Potato head was a better and more creative play caller than her was. Hard to believe but we could be worse than we were this year.

@BleedingGreen Can we just trade Nick? Saves the embarrassment of firing a SB winning coach 1 year later and frees us up to bring in a real head coach who can bring in a real offense and stay with Jalen for years.
English

If they didn’t dump him after 2023 they’re not dumping him after winning a Super Bowl. The optics for prospective candidates would likely be clouded.

Nick has to be out I can't imagine Lurie sitting by idly after watching that malpractice for most of the season also let me add this critical question: how many owners are seriously lining up to HIRE NICK SIRIANNI in this coaching cycle? can't be too hot of a commodity

Two thoughts:
1) Giving Hurts offensive stability and not a new OC every year can be fixed with a competent HC that can scheme, gameplan, and maybe even call plays.
Sirianni is not that. At all
2) I think AJ Brown should stay. He had a bad year by his standards. But so did everyone else playing in an offense made to fail.

@BrandonGowton This should have been corrected months ago!!!! Unacceptable. Burn it down

This @eagles offensive game plan today (outside of the red zone) can best be described as…
Please don’t use words…just pictures

@JoshReynolds24 And unfortunately we will have to start paying everyone on defense and lose everyone on offense. Way to go Nick!!!🖕🖕🖕

@RealDGunn Not if you have been watching this team all year. Coaching has been horrible all year!!!

SHOULD THE PHILADELPHIA #EAGLES FIRE HEAD COACH NICK SIRIANNI TONIGHT…?
Sirianni led Philadelphia to the Super Bowl last season, but they were just eliminated in the wildcard round, one of the most disappointing seasons in team history.
