some brutal honesty from my POV building ataktos building in this space is hard because many people only care about profit. they rarely care about seeing a project actually win. nobody is really your friend here. you are only as valuable as the last alpha or profit you made for them. everything becomes transactional. people get upset when something is happening that they can’t extract from. you learn not to take it personal. that’s just the nature of the space. handling whitelist for a 222 supply mint has also been eye opening. the amount of DMs, pressure and emotional manipulation just to get a spot is insane. someone asks for a community allocation. you say the collab slots are full. their next message: “can i at least get one for myself?” this is exactly why i moved most of the spots to puzzles. i would rather reward people who actually show interest and participate. but even then, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐟𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝟐𝟐𝟐 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲. whitelist or not shouldn’t stop anyone from collecting the art if they genuinely like it. from the beginning, ataktos was never about extracting money. it’s me experimenting with art, ai and community building. whether you are in the whitelist phase, the fcfs phase, or just watching from the sidelines i appreciate the interest. and trust me i take notes. even when i don’t react.
