Dave Ramsey says that credit cards are a scam. But I get 9% cash back on groceries (Venmo promotion for 6mo), 5% back on Gas (Costco Citi), 5% back on Amazon, 3% back on everything else (Venmo promotion) That's literally free money. Be responsible and use credit cards.

@nicky_wraps @FiveGuys I paid $16 for a freaking cobb salad with Chicken and a tea at Whataburger. Bill Miller BBQ chicken salad is still about $11.

Stopped into a @FiveGuys in South Austin. Hadn’t been in years. Food was ok. Restaurant was nearly empty. Wonder if $17 for a small meal is a bit too much for most fast food eaters?

If I want to "play" golf I ride. If I want to compete I walk. I have yet to figure out a way to really lock in riding and it happens naturally walking.

I hope my husband had a very uncomfortable day at work today. I hope all of his female coworkers asked what he did for me for Mother’s Day. And I hope he had to tell them the truth. Nothing. No flowers. No card. No breakfast. No last-minute grocery store bouquet grabbed on the way home. Nothing at all. Meanwhile, I am the mother of his children. The same children I carried, delivered, and continue to keep alive on a daily basis. I didn’t even want anything extravagant. A handwritten card, a cup of coffee, or somebody else loading the dishwasher would have been enough. Instead, the day came and went like it was a random Tuesday. Instead, you’ll have to pay a monthly subscription fee just to use basic dashboard features like navigation, texting, Spotify, or Apple Music in your own car — even after you’ve already paid for the vehicle. This really hit home for me about how so many big companies are finding new ways to nickel-and-dime us with ongoing subscriptions for things we used to get for free. It makes me wonder — when the time comes, will I pay for their dashboard service, or will I just keep using my phone directly for navigation and music? Have you seen this kind of shift with car manufacturers or other companies lately?

@ThrillaRilla369 This is easy. I have been working earning a W2 since I was 16 and not had one fast food joint job. I did apply at Hardees at 16 but he said I needed to be 18 to work a slicer or something.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ I live in Texas with 90% humidity. Use to go to Vegas for College Football opening weekend and the temps were routinely 105-108. That's like 98 in Texas. I remember walking in front of Caesar's when it was 105 thinking this isn't that bad when there is 0 humidity.

This man is in Phoenix, Arizona visiting his daughter. It is 108* there!🥵 He noticed this unit on top of her house and wondered why it isn’t on the ground like most houses. He asked her and she said that was the way it was when they bought the house. Why would this be on top of the roof? I’ve lived in 5 different states and never seen them on the roof. And notice how big it is, it’s huge! Why would they be on the roof? What’s the reasoning? And 108*? Are people really digging a 108* weather? Could you handle that?
