🚨 I won't sugarcoat it: now is when our Education Secretary needs to make a phone call to the president of the University of Michigan, and threaten to withhold $1.3 BILLION in federal funding. Amir Makled is an attorney from Dearborn, Michigan. He's running in an election to become a Board Regent at the university. He represented the pro-Hamas students on campus who were arrested for vandalizing the university's board members' homes because they refused to vote for divestment from Israel. Makled has MULTIPLE tweets praising Hezbollah terrorists killed by the IDF, as well as praise for Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, which he has now deleted after being exposed. He appeared on campus last week with Hasan Piker, who publicly stated, "it doesn't matter if f*cking rapes happened on October 7th." A Board Regent at U of M is an 8-year-term. It would give this terror-supporter significant political influence over the university, as well as oversight of $1.3 BILLION in federal funds that will be distributed to professors, research, and departments. This is an extremely dangerous new chapter in academia. If they can't become professors, this is how they can slither in and gain control of our tax dollars and influence over students. This is THE fork in the road. Our Education Secretary MUST FACE THIS THREAT, as uncomfortable as it is. @EDSecMcMahon

The population most aggressively consuming erythritol, people with obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, is the exact population with the highest baseline cardiovascular risk. The sweetener marketed as their safe alternative may be compounding the problem it was sold to solve.
