A woman who's made herself completely unweddable to most men wrote an article browbeating social awkward Gen Z men (who've been seriously struggling to find careers & make friends & who've been browbeaten by women their entire lives) on just how unweddable they are.

@RepJackKimble Do you have ANY IDEA how tone deaf this is? There are tons of people smarter than you are who'd LOVE to earn what you earn and have perpetual health insurance. For only 140 days a year? Are you KIDDING?

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

@suzamaroo Not just American history- world history. We have the only working class in the world voting for the party of big business. It’s pretty wild.

@Jubilee4CHANGE I guess I'm glad there are people like you who call Dale out, but I hope you don't let him consume too much energy. He really isn't worth it.

Code for: Femininity is weak & docile while masculinity is vile & brutish. He's trying to beat women into submission while laying groundwork for men to be violent w/impunity. It's sick. It's unChristlike. I'm telling you, RUN!!!!
Dale Partridge@dalepartridge

No man wants a woman who cusses. Swear words, obscenities, profanity, and vulgarity are not feminine or godly. Foul language is foul. But from women, who are to be the “fairer sex” and the “gentle and quiet spirits,” it’s abhorrent. Stop it.

@hookskat I walked away from mine, too, for a while. Didn't really come back to my parents' faith, created something different. Something my own.

@JDVance JD, I pray that the damage you do to your soul with this kind of prevarication brings you to repentance.

There’s a reason President Trump is respected by world leaders, and it’s because he’s consistently shown a level of strength that we haven’t seen from our Commander in Chief in modern history.

.@POTUS on his state visit to China: "We have a relationship, he and I, and we've been working together a long time. We've gotten along well. When I first came here, China was really taking advantage of the United States—he understands that—and now, we do great with China."

@hookskat No, I agree it doesn't. Make it so, but it makes my life better and enables me to do more for others.

@jhkrantz You are right I mean can't. “Preferable to nonbelief” is a weird statement. I suppose I could say it might be preferable if a loving god controlled the world and cared about his creation. Preferable doesn't make it so, and the evidence says otherwise.

@hookskat I think you meant "can't comprehend?" I just mean it isn't a "whim", it's a considered decision. I find belief in the God present to me in Jesus to be preferable to non-belief. Or belief in any other God. Perhaps I can do this because I wasn't brought up evangelical.

@jhkrantz Even if you don't believe ALLAH exists? Really? I can comprehend you you think you can simply choose something to believe on a whim.

@hookskat Simply not true, of me at least. It may sound weird, but if I were to choose Allah, it would be because Allah seems better to me, not more true or whatever.

@jhkrantz If you were to “choose” Allah instead of Bible God, it would only be because you were convinced he was god of all.…. Not on simple choice like picking vanilla over chocolate ice-cream.

@hookskat I'm pretty self aware, and I don't think it's a lie. But I also think that I grew up with a different understanding of "belief." Unbelief never shocked me. I've always found my atheist friends to be just as "faithful" to their values as I am to God.

@jhkrantz I think this is a lie, and you know it is. When I was a believer there is no way I could have “chosen” not to believe. Unbelief shocked and dismayed me at first. It was an event, not a choice. The only choice I made was to investigate what I believed in order to grow.

You can't say voting is not a sign of eternal devotion and then immediately say faithful Christians can't vote a certain way. I know you want to feel better about championing an anti-christ like Trump but it's hypocritical to expect grace for your vote and not extend that same grace to Christians who voted differently bc we saw how awful he was.

Yes, because what you fail to see April is that the best available set of policies for the Christian cannot be the maximum amount of baby killing and the maximum amount of perversion. And that is what the Democrats offer. Anyone formed by Christian ethics should see no inconsistency here.
April Ajoy@aprilajoyr

The hypocrisy/cognitive dissonance of MAGA Christians perfectly displayed by these two statements said within 24 hours of each other 🤦🏼‍♀️

@jhkrantz I doubt that. Since you are convinced god does exist….. Try believing he doesn't. That is the position I am in. I don't believe, so I can't.

@hookskat It is in my world. It's a decision to trust one reality over another, or others. There's no certainty.
