Discussion with my wife. Need objective opinion: Is 28k steps per day average tourism or husband abuse? 🤔

@bchesky @AirbnbHelp I don't understand how a host could be permanently suspended for a false reason without a chance to share their side? It's been a poor experience

AI image generator Midjourney lets users make satirical images of Biden, Putin, and other leaders. But not Xi Jinping. Midjourney's CEO says "political satire in china is pretty not-okay" so he's applying China's speech rules *globally* to all users. techdirt.com/2023/03/31/mid…

The fear-mongering and partisan headlines around Pelosi's visit to Taiwan are infuriating. Stop letting brutal dictatorships like China set the agenda with bluffs and violence. Unite democracies and let dictators be afraid instead.

@HarveyMultani Why surrogates in particular? What about people trying to do IVF (seems like a larger group)?

Anyone recommend a good accountant in the Seattle area? Ideally someone familiar both with: - Tech RSUs/stock - Side businesses (S-corps/LLCs) and pass-through taxation + writeoffs - Oh, and who doesn’t charge an exorbitant amount :P

Egg freezing seems to require a lot of self administered injections on a strict schedule Replacing the injections with a (or a series of) smart transdermal patch could be interesting en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transderm…

@HarveyMultani There's a surgery to get the mature eggs out (around 1 surgeon, 1 anesthesiologist, 3 nurses involved), and they discard the ones that aren't mature enough. A lot of the costs are around getting as many eggs as possible mature at the same time in your body.

Finally get to give back and treat my family to a nice vacation. Flying them all first class for the first time in their lives to Switzerland. 🥳 Where are the prettiest sights? I’m trying to find the best mountains. And also trying to bungee jump, paraglide, skydive, etc!

It's interesting to me b/c as a woman, I don't feel particularly oppressed or second class to men... But as of ~100 years ago, I would not have even been considered a citizen..? Unreal. We've come a long way.
