@ShamsCharania So in hindsight, they traded KAT (who is now an NBA Champion) for picks.

Just in: Minnesota is sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade that sends Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn’s No. 33 pick for Randle and No. 28.

@Claudxx88 The ill side of breeding a culture that is borderline toxic and consequential. They all knew the risks when they themselves experienced the training but no one bothered to question the deadly risks involved in conducting the training all because of conforming to their “culture”

Wala pa ata ako nakitang former ADMU player na nag side sa families ng victims. Parang halos lahat pinagtatanggol yung school at "team building" na yan kesyo ganyan din sila before. Like, wtf?!! Alam nilang may muntik ng mamatay before pero walang ni isang nag call out?! 🤬

I instantly remembered Nieto's podcast about their training before with Ateneo.

You know what’s insensitive? Former Ateneo players being defensive of the institution when people are clamoring for accountability; when the families of the victims are saying they are being kept in the dark. That’s what is insensitive. Nobody asked their piece.

@QueenHellaxx The strong precedent is what drives the public’s views and they have merit. Ateneo wouldn’t be able to hide the truth. Even if the initial statements from the PNP clearly aims to dismiss the public outcry as “without basis”, there was negligence from those accountable.

@QueenHellaxx Also, people are not spinning the facts for malicious claims. The interviews provide a strong precedent that the Ateneo MBT management FAILED to guarantee the current players’ safety during the training because this year’s batch had actual casualties.

@kheipea @QuitoNitura For this matter, the deaths do kind of prove that there was a lack of due diligence right? Hence the seemingly strong public outcry of finding who is to blame? No matter the outcome of the investigation, clearly there is someone or there are people to blame.

@QuitoNitura I agree to a point. Muntik na malunod before, so it’s a known hazard. Due diligence is to either train in a controlled setting, or adjust the training and ensure a strict student-to-instructor ratio for emergencies like a rescue or evacuation. It was unsafe to continue otherwise.

@BarryOnHere The Cavs winning the 2016 title was the one that siginificantly changed the course of the NBA. If the Warriors won in 2016, KD wouldn’t have joined them in 2017, and the Cavs probably would have won the 2017 title and possibly the 2018 title as well.

I still can't fucking believe Kevin Durant joined a 73 win team at his peak. Total bullshit. Will always be bullshit. Ruined so many legacies & made everything worse.

@Fullcourtpass @NBA when a player sells a call, he is fooling the ref. Stop with this nonsense

Adam Silver says flopping in the NBA is not a pressing issue “Even as I sit in the stands at games, players may be falling down, players may be reacting to a call. But to me, if they’re not fooling the referees, it’s OK. Players are taught to sell calls these days.” (Via @PatMcAfeeShow)

@RTNBA Yeah dumbas*. Clearly people complain because they’re using it to win and they’re clearly being favored more over the other teams that also do it.

Mike Breen defends SGA vs the foul baiting criticism👀 “Does Shai sell calls sometimes? Absolutely, but so do 287 other players in the NBA, nobody was complaining when they weren’t a championship contender. They’re complaining now because they’re winning”

@HaterReport Every bit of replay was a flop and he flat out lied lol he’s just trying to build a “dynasty” after the warriors and clearly knows okc wouldn’t win anything if they’re not going to get favorable calls on both sides of the court. Even that fraud mvp wouldn’t win without the refs
