The Govan Stones are one of Scotland's most important collections of early medieval carved stone monuments. They are housed in the former Govan Old Parish Church, Glasgow. The collection includes 31 carved monuments dating mainly from the 9th to 11th centuries, when Govan was a major centre of the ancient Kingdom of Strathclyde. The kingdom of GB is a fiction: there are 2 crowns (& therefore 2 kingdoms!), not one in this ‘U.K.’ state. There’s the English Crown, which added Scotland to its domains in 1714, (“extended” the English Coronation Oath to Scotland), & the Scottish. This action dumped the treaty (for a single united kingdom), in the bin of course but England is good at having its cake & eating it. While it relies on the ToU for the lawful & ‘voluntary’ partnership supposed to underpin the U.K. - and to prove Scotland isn’t an English colony - it dispenses with that treaty completely to plunder Scotland’s resources in right of an English-only Crown. That is ongoing colonisation - adding a country to the Great British/English Crown and saying, “Mine now!” is how England claimed the right to control every one of its colonies. But while these 2 crowns and their implications for the union have been staring us in the face, the Anglo-British state has inducted its entire legal establishment into the cult of the emperor’s new clothes so thoroughly that they will ignore a vacant treaty, two crowns instead of one & the continuation of the English state without so much as a pause after the ‘union’, insisting that the words of the treaty mean that is what took place no matter what the substantive reality. (This is like holding up a piece of legislation that says the sun is shining as the proof of weather conditions while a hurricane is raging!) The crown *without* a lawful monarch is Scotland, as there’s no treaty that allows England’s crown to take control of Scotland. And no monarch after Anne took the legally required Scottish Oath of Accession, whatever you saw Charley boy swear to before his English coronation. So the oath required of Scottish MP’s & MSP’s is a profession of loyalty to an administering Power required from a people subject to a foreign sovereignty. This is a defining characteristic of colonisation. So - the one crown/monarch story is all bluff and bluster to hide an English monarch demanding fealty to an English Crown while everyone swallows the line that there is some kind of GB or U.K. Crown, created in 1707. It does not exist. We don’t have to remove Charles after independence because he is, like every ‘British’ monarch since George I, England’s king and only England’s king. We do have to expose & challenge this fraud. This initiative needs to get some traction!

Retaliation Targets: Iran Lists Sites That Would Trigger a Major Global Crisis Rumors indicate that Trump, together with Netanyahu, is preparing to resume intense bombing of Iran, this time focusing heavily on civilian infrastructure. Iran, for its part, has released a list of targets that could collapse the economies of Israel, Jordan, and the Gulf states if it is attacked. The United States and Israel appear to calculate that the operation will be so intense that the Iranians will be unable to do much more than they did during the previous 40 days of war. Shuaiba plant: a mega-facility on the Red Sea coast. Jubail complex: a vital cogeneration facility that supplies the capital, Riyadh.
 United Arab Emirates Jebel Ali complex (Dubai): a massive desalination and power plant located near the port. Taweelah complex (Abu Dhabi): a large reverse-osmosis desalination plant. Fujairah F1 / F2: critical installations on the country’s eastern coast. Barakah Nuclear Power Plant: included on maximum-retaliation lists.
 Kuwait Doha West complex: the massive plant that supplies the majority of Kuwait’s electricity and residential water.
 Bahrain Integrated coastal water co-generation plants that supply the island.
 Qatar Ras Laffan complex: the main industrial hub for processing, power generation, and LNG exports.
 Jordan Water-supply infrastructure: included because of the country’s logistical cooperation with Western forces.
 If these targets are hit, they will trigger an economic, social, and environmental crisis across the region, a scenario I am not even capable of fully imagining. We promised we would be serialising Liberation Scotland's Markers of a Colonised Nation. This is being done by Christophe Dorigné-Thomson at the Still Yours for Scotland blog, decoloniseDOTscot. What does Scotland have in common with every other colony ever brutally forged out of the peoples of the world by the Anglo-British state and other western imperial powers? These markers identify the characteristics of colonization in fine detail, with many examples. Some of them are profound structures of political control and suppression, some everyday features of a colonized people that many will recognise immediately as being woven through and strongly bearing on their own lives. Chris has written an introduction, which will be followed by a series of items from the markers. We believe these markers, prompted by the work of Professor Alfred Baird in his seminal book Doun-Hauden - the Socio-Political Determinants of Scottish Independence, are of critical importance in identifying Scotland's colonial status over three centuries of domination by another nation, that of England.

I think he’s asking people to start looking seriously at what we would face if we reached the point where declaring independence became more than the clever little merry go round the English state has kept Scotland on for so long. To be clear, however, and before I say any more, for Liberation Scotland these issues fall to be addressed by those who will guide a newly recovered state of Scotland safely through its earliest and most vulnerable reincarnation. Our job begins and ends with clearing the road block to decolonisation/liberation and reclaiming the right to our unique Scottish constitution, laws, principles and human and civil rights. What happens at independence and after, the political organisation that carries it through and how it deals with Westminster is not in our ‘remit’ - and not for any voluntary campaign to decide. That said, I have a purely personal view here. There are a lot of comfortable, fluffy, bedtime stories about the jolly good British state, about its playing fair and being willing to let Scotland go - if reluctantly - if its people really want that (as so many prime ministers and spokespeople have said). That’s a crock just like the voluntary partnership, the lie about the extinction of the two kingdoms and the creation of a new state (But, they bluster, it *is* true because we ‘Brits’ and our whole legal establishment *say* so even if we did dismantle Scotland’s state and continue as exactly the same England without a single alteration after the union as before it.) When it comes to honour, law and good faith, rhetoric and appearance ate all that concern this state - never substance. You think perfidious Albion will sit down across a table with a new interim Scottish government over a glass of Scotch whisky, eye this massive liquid amber revenue source regretfully and discuss a peaceful transition to giving it up along with its main oil and gas revenues, its free renewable energy, its control of the northern maritime passage, along with removing the nuclear submarines to endanger its own population and making possible reparations? If so you are the one who needs a mental health checkup here! What I think Craig is really suggesting is some realism. What will have to be in place to protect an independent Scotland from a state that has already committed genocide and ethnic cleansing when Scots tried to reclaim their sovereignty 3 centuries ago, used a deliberately engineered famine to displace hundreds of thousands more, helped to engineer the ‘clearances’ which co tinted up to the 20th century and which, at this moment is tearing up the ECHR as well as international law on apartheid, genocide, war crimes and ethnic cleansing? Well? Peacefully facing down tanks like the people of the Philippines once did? Possibly. If not why not? (Hint: the correct answer is *not* because that’s mad or because they just wouldn’t do that. The correct answer will offer a decent insight into the real forces and parameters in play here.) But first, take a good look at what’s happening in the world and here in ‘the U.K.’ right now. I may be wrong but I believe Craig is trying to get people to see the UK as it really is, a vicious and rogue state providing the intelligence and the weaponry that is enabling the shredding of the bodies, towns, and lives of helpless, ordinary people (even sniping infants) in the most calculated, cold blooded, determined, merciless genocide we have seen since the Nazis. This is who we will have to face at independence. Are we prepared for whatever that might mean? It’s a good question.
