Out for a trot earlier and - much to their evident amusement - some youths in a souped-up car shouted “running wanker” out the window. My retort of “high insurance premium wankers” would have been excellent, had I said it at the time and not thought of it ten minutes later.

Things got worse.After describing ice skating on the Thames we went past HMS Belfast.I mentioned I’d landed a helicopter on it & raced around with the captain looking for a pink clue. He is concerned. The sons are having an emergency meeting. They have no idea about Treasure Hunt

Fab days racing at @ayrracecourse today, its been pretty good for the bookies too 🥲 but credit to Ayr, lovely track, nice friendly staff, and by far the best and cleanest gents loo’s of any racecourse i’ve ever been too, anywhere in the world….and i’ve been to a few !
