I’ve paid plenty of ‘reparations’ in the form of deadbeat tenants and a criminal system that rewards criminal behavior. It’s a false construct. Excellent! There are many large corporations with headquarters or large regional offices in New York City. Other corporations operate large distribution or osther facilities. Each of these companies needs to explain why they would stay in New York City with the newly elected mayor as well as the State Government. Shareholders, employees and customers need to be ready for the financial damages. Many companies maintain a large facility in New York. Years ago, it was a mark of distinction and an economic advantage. That has gone away with the mayoral election. The new democrat/socialist city government will open up every company and every resident to tremendous risk. Wages have always been higher to get people to work in NYC and that has been accepted and has been of benefit. However, the massive payroll increases that would be required to comply with the new government could impact the financial strength of many companies; alienate shareholders; reduce corporate income and confidence. The astounding financial attacks on any companies remaining could approach levels to affect the entire corporation. Profits from every other facility would need to offset the losses in NYC. Allowing employees to work remotely may offer some small relief but employerd may need to provide commutation allowances to retain workers. The increase in crime will directly impact operations. Employees and their families will be exposed to injury and death while commuting and even on lunch break. Employees injured by criminal acts could sue employers. I won't even mention the possible economic impacts of having the stock exchange and other financial institutions in New York City. to
