Every day, someone must insult me or call me names here on social media — not just one person, but at least five people. I wish you knew how much this affects my mental health. I am even thinking of taking a break from social media for a while just to relax and find peace. I wonder, if someone does not agree with your post, why do they have to use vulgar words and insults? May God have mercy on some people. God, give me strength.

If Rice has 1,000+ yards this year, do the Chiefs tag him and say "do that again" before worrying about a long term extension, or do they just let him walk in free agency regardless? Franchise tag for a WR in 2027 will be around $31.5M per OTC

Every Saturday morning I have breakfast with a bunch of old farmers. Discussion today was population decline and replacement rate in the US. They've come up with a very simple yet elegant solution to increase birth rates. Bring back bench seats in pickup trucks.

The funniest maths in modern environmentalism. One almond requires 12 litres of irrigated water to produce. Peer-reviewed, ScienceDirect, 2017. A glass of almond milk contains roughly 50 of them. 600 litres of water before the carton is filled. The water comes from the San Joaquin Valley in California, which sits over one of the most over-extracted aquifers on earth. The valley floor has subsided by up to nine metres in places due to groundwater depletion. The carton is then refrigerated, sailed across the Atlantic, refrigerated again, lorried to a Manchester Tesco, and bought by someone who is concerned about the environmental impact of dairy. Meanwhile, in Cheshire. A British dairy cow drinks roughly 70 to 100 litres of water a day and produces around 28 litres of milk. That's about 3.5 litres of water per litre of milk. The water is rainwater that fell on her field or came from a local stream fed by the same rainwater. The rain was going to fall on the field whether the cow stood in it or not. 80% of her moisture intake comes from the grass itself, which is also rain. She converts the grass, free of charge, into a litre of milk containing seven times the protein and four times the calcium of almond milk, and shipped roughly 18 miles to the same Tesco. To recap. 600 litres of stolen aquifer, flown halfway round the world for nutritionally worthless beige water. Or 3.5 litres of rain that was already falling, converted by an animal you can pet, into actual food. The shopper picks the almond. She has been told this is the ethical position. The aquifer would like a word.

Anonymous: I used to laugh at people who said porn could destroy a person. I called it “stress relief.” I called it “normal.” Everybody was watching. So I joined too. It started with curiosity. Then boredom. Then midnight scrolling. Then hiding tabs like they were weapons. I stopped seeing people as humans. Every girl became a body first. A soul later. The scary part? Nobody knew. I still tweeted motivation. Still prayed sometimes. Still looked responsible outside. But my mind was rotting quietly. One day, I sat across a real woman who genuinely liked me. And I realized I could no longer connect without fantasy in my head. That moment scared me more than hell sermons. People debate whether porn is sinful. That’s their business. But I know this: Anything that trains you to consume people instead of love them will eventually damage you. I’m still healing. Still unlearning. Still fighting silence at 2am. But at least now, I no longer defend the thing that almost emptied me from inside.

@CassellGuardYT @shipwreckedcrew China was calling what they believed was a Trump bluff. They had to be shown the US (Trump) meant business. Done. I never would have believed an American POTUS would ever be welcomed into China with honor ever again in my lifetime.

The "Deal" with Iran is announced within days of Trump coming back from China. China more than any country in the world needs Iranian oil to flow out of the Gulf. There were no obvious "Agreements" that came out of the trip. But I suspect there was an agreement behind doors that Trump would allow oil to flow to China in exchange for China forcing Iran to allow all other commerce thru the Gulf. What Iran says at this point is meaningless -- this is a quid pro quo between Trump and Xi about their mutual needs. That will start immediately, but the more contentious issues will be resolved over time. But Xi knows that Trump can cut-off oil to China any time he wants to -- he can simply block the Strait again AFTER the other cargo has cleared. There are workarounds for most of what the Gulf states need to go in and out. There is only one way for Iranian oil to get to Chinese ports.

This is interesting where I need to deliver Tuesday morning is real close to where that tank is in Anaheim. The one they are trying to keep from blowing up right now. 40-50 thousand people are under evacuation orders at this time. Depending on what reports you hear Disney Land is closed.

Give A Shit About Nature

North Carolina figured something out 40 years ago that most states still haven't. Instead of just mowing roadsides, they started planting wildflowers. What began as a tiny 12-acre experiment in 1985 has grown to 1,500 acres of pollinator habitat across the state. The U.S. mows roughly 17 million acres of roadside grass every year at massive cost for basically zero benefit to wildlife. Every state already pays to maintain those shoulders and medians. They could turn that same land into wildflower corridors for less money and way more impact. North Carolina proved it works, the rest of the country has no excuse.

With Rashee Rice what irritates me the most is the people saying “it’s just weed.” That’s not the point. He was told to not be under the influence of any substance while on probation. Rashee literally could’ve killed people last summer, and is very lucky he didn’t. He has proven that he isn’t a smart individual, and he cannot be trusted to do the right thing. A few months ago he said he wants JSN money. 42.5 million a year. He really must not want it that bad if he doesn’t have the discipline to stay sober while on probation. He has the chance to become financially free for generations to come, but he is about to be working an average job like an average guy if he doesn’t get his head out of his ass. Listening to the most recent ‘only weird games’ podcast they said they care more about Rashee rice at 35 than they do at 25, and that was a really good take. He needs to wisen up and listen to the harsh words he is getting currently.

Very well expressed It's a complicated concept because it goes so against what people think it is They think submission has no power, but actually, and obviously, it has a lot of power You don't angrily yell at your guy to do the dishes or other stupid stuff; instead you become a goddess he will do anything for - out of his own free will Men love to be of service; they love to be useful. To be relied upon. To be trusted. To be capable. All the negative behaviors in men are caused by negative behaviors in the women - and vice versa of course, it takes two to tango. If you want Prince Charming - become Cinderella (and vice versa)

I’ve noticed that when I bring up the concept of humans and “duty”—to family, to community, to nature—men (generally) are like “yeah!” On the other hand, women (generally) get 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘺 defensive. Why is this?

From an evangelical perspective there is a paradoxical aspect to the issue of one’s awareness or assurance of salvation: one may doubt his salvation because he feels unworthy, but ironically, that’s not humility, because our salvation depends not on our works but Christ’s finished work. By doubting yourself you’re actually distrusting Him, which, by definition is antithetical to faith. So if that is an obstacle, one must get over himself and authentically trust Him. The paradox is that doubting your adequacy for salvation should lead you to full surrender and trust in Him because it should clarify to you that you can never save yourself. So untether your awareness of your inability to save yourself from your stubborn pride in trying to do it anyway. Use your sober awareness of your inadequacy to drive you to Him —not away from Him.

I CRIED WHEN I READ THIS A parent’s home will always remain open for their children… even after arguments, distance, disappointment, or years apart. But many parents quietly realize that once their children grow up, they slowly stop having a place in their children’s busy lives. Parents spend their whole life saving money for their children’s future… while many children grow up counting every expense spent on their parents. A mother will stay awake all night if her child is sick… but many parents silently stare at their phones waiting for a simple call that never comes. Parents forgive their children again and again without keeping score. But as they grow older, they often fear becoming a burden to the very people they once carried in their arms. The painful truth is: when we are young, our parents feel permanent. So we delay the visits. The hugs. The conversations. The appreciation. Until one day… the chair they used to sit in stays empty forever. And suddenly, all the busy days that felt “important” no longer matter at all. Love your parents gently while you still can. Call them more. Sit with them longer. Listen to their stories patiently. Because one day, you will realize: no one in this world will ever love you as quietly, deeply, and selflessly as they did. ✨🙌🏾💫

The last two days were tough, so I expected to feel just as awful today, but the Lord was merciful. I've had little nausea or pain and enjoyed spending several hours outside in the sunshine. It's been an absolutely gorgeous day, a delightful, refreshing gift from God ☺️
