@jam3sr0bt @MyCarlsbadAgent @jeremykauffman The 0.1% prevalence helps you calculate the probability that a person would test positive. Test 1000 people. The 1 sick person tests positive, but also 5% of the 999 healthy people (the 5% false positive), or about 50 people, for a total of 51. 1 sick out of 51 positives=1.96%
English

I get this, but I didn't interpret "false positive rate" like that. I interpret it as:
Out of every 100 random people, regardless of testing, 0.1 contract the disease - but this is irrelevant to the question
Separately, out of every 100 positive test results, 5 people do not have the disease.
I think this makes sense if you're not already aware of the other definition. It also seems like a more useful test, so it passes a sanity check better.

@jrichardgoodman Movement by and interchange between all 5 opens up a lot more space and genuine shooting opportunities. Elsewhere, Buddy had to rely on the guy with the ball to create something, which didn't happen often enough. When he got the ball he forced a lot of shots that weren't there

@kmwood02 Didn't Arsenal have an official men's suit sponsor in the late Wenger era? Or am I imagining things?

@krispykrunchy does krispy krunchy use egg in the chicken, biscuits, or mac n cheese?

@kmwood02 2 things in our favor: the better team doesn't always win, and 2-0 is the most dangerous scoreline

@kmwood02 Southampton will soon find why 2-0 is the most dangerous scoreline
