Yep, we also played with metal jarts, fired bottle rockets at one another, skateboarded wearing only shorts, sat too close to the TV, sledded down steep hills into the street, played tag on roofs, hurled red dodgeballs in each other’s faces, sped our bikes over makeshift ramps, and ran with scissors. We learned to cook, babysat our younger siblings, got jobs when we were 16, and couldn’t wait to move out of our parents house. And sometime during all this, at 10 p.m., the TV would have to remind our parents they had kids. It was a glorious childhood.

@ItsJustinRhodes Don't kill innocent animals. But yes, staring into the eyes of an animal you are selfishly killing would be a good thing. So many have no empathy.

@tyromper I'll be married 22 years tomorrow. Not a day goes by that I don't wake up and end my day with my wife. A chemistry like that is hard to find and I'm forever grateful. My mother always said to me "you have to want the same things in life". So true.

My parents are in their late 60s. They: •Workout together everyday. •Mentor youth & lead church groups. •Committed for 46 years of marriage. •Take daily walks & bike rides together. •Have children & grandchildren that honor them. Many people have more zeroes in an account than them, but they are THE RICHEST PEOPLE ON EARTH. Wealth is more than just money. Ensure your priorities are seeking true wealth. •Healthy body •Home full of love. •A peaceful & calm mind. •A life serving & impacting others. •Children that strive to honor your legacy. Money is an important tool, but it can’t be the end goal or you’ll never have enough. True WEALTH encompasses things money cannot buy.

Blessed day today. Really pumped this Saturday my eight year old daughter wants to break her step record of 40,000 & shoot for 50-60k! We are going to wake up early & get after it together! The Guinness World record for an eight year is 108,000….. maybe we will go for that if she’s feeling up to it! 😂. Wishing you a relaxing evening & a nice peaceful recharge. @tyromper Reminding me of the day Smiley Riley and me hiked Pikes peak. We didn’t mean to, but we got 66,000 steps That day. We thought my wife was picking us up at the top but everything was closed due to ice😕 we had 3 hours to get down before dark! Epic day😊

@tyromper Some of my best days have been the races and fitness events with my boys! My oldest is a married man now and we all got to go to his Gym when visiting he and his wife in VA last month. It was Awesome for me😊

Look at this old picture of a high school PE class. The PE teacher is in shape & there appear to be no obese kids. My dad has shown me pictures of his old class & pointed out there was ONE obese kid out of 60. Today the latest data from the CDC says that 21% of our KIDS are OBESE. This is unacceptable & a PANDEMIC. What happened? How do we fix it?

Every DAD should feel confident when he takes his shirt off at the pool. Most dads don’t have a desire to squat 500 or run a sub 5 minute mile, they just want to: •look good •feel confident •have more energy •be a good role model It’s my hope you put the work in to achieve it! I can’t tell you how great it feels at 40.

@hvalapiletina @tyromper If you believe looking good and having confidence aren’t related. You are lying to yourself and maybe making excuses to not be fit. Nothing wrong with self compassion, liking yourself and the way you look.

@SteakFiend @_NateNorman Verse 11 seems pretty clear I think Gods wrath was drawn by “standing aloof while strangers carried off his(Jacob) wealth and foreigners entered his gates, and cast lots for Jerusalem “ I trust the Bible more than pop culture. I’m not jumping on the anti-Isreal bandwagon

@_NateNorman @SteakFiend There is definitely a biblical stance on this Check out the book of Obadia. Especially verses 9-10 Edom was destroyed for allowing harm to come to Isreal. Just standing by and watching .

First of all you’re gutless for posting the screenshot instead of just responding to my tweet. Second I’m articulating my own position on the issue, which is that human life begins at conception. If that’s the case then abortion is always murder. I’ve never heard anyone give a persuasive argument to the contrary. You certainly haven’t done so here.

@PepeLePump I’m trying too. Super hard with a family full of alcoholics. Every family event and holiday revolves around alcohol.

Every time I drink alcohol for special occasions, I still end up regretting it Think I’m done for good regardless of the setting Anyone else?

@PepeLePump I’m coming up on 20 years. Feeling crappy the next day and not enjoying time with my kids ended it for me. I haven’t missed it at all
