@tomangell A lot of truth to this. But 6 months ago no one thought you could defund police, yet here we are. Point being, we are in an unprecedented cycle of social change. May still be a tall order but wouldn't discount the shifting winds on cannabis going into the next Congress.

A largely under-appreciated notion in the cannabis world, at least from what I can tell, is that a Democratic Congress might be unlikely to advance far-reaching marijuana reforms opposed by a President Joe Biden. If he doesn’t want it, why would his party send it to him?

@MarijuanaNews As more states pass adult use measures, 280e will become increasingly untenable. If the courts don't address it, the growing cohort of legislators representing legal markets in 2021/22 will be under intense pressure to normalize cannabis banking and taxation.

As I watch the Elijah Mcclain case unfold I wonder how many cops are now lying awake at night, dreading knock on the door about a case they and their departments buried when the world was too distracted to care. Justice must be served. We must weed them all out.
