No blow-off top. No retail euphoria. No clear catalyst that everyone agrees on. Just a violent repricing through every major level. Fear & Greed hit single digits. And unlike previous crashes, nobody can clearly explain what broke. Quantum risk. Bitcoin is failing the debasement test. Funds unwinding. AI pulling capital. Regulation uncertainty. When narratives fragment and conviction disappears, your job isn’t to guess the story. It’s to manage exposure. So I made a decision. Instead of sitting there hoping everything “comes back,” I closed almost every position I had. I didn’t want 30 tokens that might recover. I wanted a small number of assets that will still be relevant whether this cycle extends, resets, or structurally changes. The CLARITY Act is a market structure bill focused on one thing: stopping manipulation and bringing real transparency to crypto markets. What does it actually do? • Bans wash trading and fake volume • Criminalizes spoofing and front running • Gives regulators real time tools to monitor market abuse • Requires proof of reserves and regular audits for U.S. exchanges WHY THIS ACT IS IMPORTANT? Now look at what happened on October 10. That day, the crypto market saw $100 billion+ in real liquidations. Bitcoin and altcoins collapsed together. To this day, we don’t know exactly how it started, we don’t know which large entities blew up. There was no clear report, transparency or accountability. Since then, market crypto has behaved very weirdly. Almost every asset class outside crypto has rmade new highs. But in crypto, every pump gets fully sold, Good news leads to dumps and Bad news leads to even sharper dumps. This is not normal price action. This is exactly what the CLARITY Act targets. If rules for this are in place then large liquidations can’t happen quietly, market abuse becomes traceable and exchanges can’t hide fake volume or risk. It also changes who participates. Right now, institutions mostly hold Bitcoin only. They avoid altcoins because the rules are unclear. If the CLARITY Act passes regulatory risk will drop and institutions will start allocating to altcoins as well which could bring a massive liquidity. That’s why January 15 matters.

Here's a great comparison of bitcoin bull runs, from each halving event to the top. Tops marked in white circles. You can see we are within the average time range when tops typically happen. Perhaps this cycle extends a bit further than the last, as is the trend. But we're getting close. The next Bitcoin top will be October 2025, if we assume a 35-month measurement from cycle bottom to cycle top. I've seen some people stating the Bitcoin cycles have different lengths than those pictured in the last chart I shared. So, I measured it again myself: cycle 1 cycle 2 cycle 3 MEASURE A: 25 months, 28 months, 35 months MEASURE B: 37 months, 35 months, 35 months MEASUREMENT METHOD 'B' is a lot more consistent (almost a clean 35 months per cycle) - 1st cycle notes - I've never considered the 1st cycle to extend all the way back to Oct 2010, which it's necessary to do in order to get a measurement of 37 months. Have you considered this normal? Maybe it's just me. I present it for your choice. - 2nd cycle notes - The 2nd cycle was a double bottom, so it's either 28 or 35 months from bottom to top, depending on which point of the double bottom is used (see both arrows in chart). They both touch the same price floor. - 3rd cycle notes - The 3rd cycle is 35 months. The 33 months shown in the previous chart is incorrect, imo. Summary: If, indeed, the distance is ~35 months for each cycle, from bottom to top, then Oct 2025 will be the next top, assuming it follows the pattern. This chart doesn't speculate on a price, other than it's likely to be decreasing in magnitude (diminishing returns). I wanted to present this chart for discussion.
