@JPrentice8 @NorfolkScran I don't approve of the song about Nunez dying. But the original post was about the CEO and I don't think fans can be held to the same standards as the people running clubs. As far as I know Ben Knapper hasn't been singing about David Sheepshanks. Fair play for not condoning this

@jkn718 @NorfolkScran Don't condone it all but I notice you've not said it's bad for people to sing about partying when someone dies.

@JPrentice8 @NorfolkScran Professionals representing the club, particuarly those running the club, should have higher standards. I would be very embarassed if our Chairman/Sporting Director etc was joining in with similar chants.

@LizBeighto73947 @NorfolkScran In an executive position, he shouldn't join in with the more offensive songs the fans sing. Can you provide another example of a club CEO or similar singing songs insulting a retired, former owner in their 80s? Nice example to the youngster standing in front of them too.

@NorfolkScran Your fanbase sings about Steve Wright and partying when Nunez dies so while this isn't good it's not really for you to go clutching pearls

@LizBeighto73947 @NorfolkScran He's your CEO! Not a fan. Club employees, particuarly those running the club, should surely act with a bit more decorum. But then he loves Farage doesn't he? So makes sense.

@gorlestonfc @RupertLowe10 You have an EDI policy listed on your website. Rupert Lowe is in direct and loudmouthed opposition to any such policy. Have you consulted your fans, players and community regarding your partnership with Rupert Lowe? Will your EDI policy be changed due to your links with him?

@omid9 "...as laughable as the idea that Dave Chappelle, a hugely successful comic with an estimated worth of $70m (£52m), was doing his show in Riyadh for the money." Are you really suggesting that Chappelle is no longer motivated by money because he has a lot of it?

As the Riyadh comedy festival is still in the public interest - not the way I said it in my article - you have to say Bill Burr has a certain way with words 😊 theguardian.com/culture/2025/o…

@markarmy @eadie11 @edpsport @pinkun @leistonfc @NorwichUnitedFC @needhammktfc A great read thanks. I will just point out that Stowmarket are not undefeated in all competitions for 32 games, as they lost to Wroxham in the FA vase fairly recently. Unbeaten in 32 league games perhaps, though technically unbeaten for two games given last year is null and void!

@ncfclee @barwell_richie @NorwichCityFC @levvj1 They will be on tens of thousands a week though. And got 10m between them for promotion. Many will be millionaires even at ncfc. Personally I think they should sacrifice 20% of their wages voluntarily. This would be a similar sacrifice to many others are making.

@PaulGoodrum6 @Wolfpac86 @NorwichCityFC Either way, it was a bit harsh to go straight in with prick in my opinion but then I don't use twitter much! I agree footballers are easy targets but they have an opportunity to set a brilliant precedent to coerce other millionaires to follow. Take a hit lads! 20% seems fair.

@PaulGoodrum6 @Wolfpac86 @NorwichCityFC If you are happy with the players response, that's fine. Good for you. I'm not happy and will find it difficult to support these players in future if they don't do more. I won't shop in sports direct but I don't care about that. I love NCFC and want them to do the right thing.

@PaulGoodrum6 @Wolfpac86 @NorwichCityFC You said we are all taking a hit. That logic is flawed as you have just acknowledged above by saying FTSE owners won't take a hit. I agree they should make sacrifices too. But I haven't spent the last 25 years avidly supporting companies on the FTSE so its less relevant to me.
