#SDinGov Day1-brilliant talks, impactful case studies with themes encompassing barriers, friction, empathy, designing in dark. Enjoyed hearing abt services designed around crisis/emergency, recent ones around providing the right homes for Ukraine in the UK. So much to reflect!

Having worked on the NICS team delivering the Homes for Ukraine scheme it was great to attend @socfinuk chat on how they used “ethical friction” to deliver additional value in their design of the Reset matching service. Powerful example of the value of #behaviouraldesign
