John McCain and I didn’t always agree, but he understood that some values transcended parties. He knew that if we got in the habit of bending the truth to suit political expediency or party orthodoxy, our democracy will not work. John McCain had character. Folks reading this, entertain me… Find out the tuition costs of local private schools, compare them to the amount of the VOUCHER being offered, examine the average monthly/yearly income of the majority of people in your community, then calculate the difference. Bottom line - the VOUCHER scam does not make financial sense for most of the people in your community! *Oh, by the way, the school still gets to choose you based on a wide range of variables. No matter how they try to spin it, this plan is not for the majority of people in our communities. #txlege
