@DrJenGunter This debate increasingly makes less sense. Those who advocate for the fetus at whatever stage & not the mother, but once born, could care less about either. All about control. Maybe switch energies to getting every child vaccinated; that would protect and save more lives.

A walk through of the 48 men we know of that have been housed in women's jails or prisons in Canada. The database now contains 112 men who have claimed to be women at some point, often after being arrested for sexually motivated crimes. #KPSS womenarereal.ca/womens-jails-a…

I was a professor for 15 years at the University of Guelph-Humber. I said Hamas were Nazis — in a comment to a stranger in Pakistan, unrelated to my job. A faculty member with thousands of posts calling Jews “filth” and “subhuman” helped lead the campaign against me. I was suspended without charges. Within hours, a completely false story about me was circulating across campus. The university refused to correct it — and let it spread for two years. Their “human rights” department didn’t investigate him. They cleared him. Jewish students had already told me they felt they had to hide their Stars of David. I told them they could come to my office if they ever felt unsafe. I was fired. They were left without that protection. If you think this matters, restack this. #CampusClimate #AcademicIntegrity #DueProcessMatters #InstitutionalAccountability #FreeInquiry #ProtectStudents #EqualStandards #CivilLiberties @HeterodoxAcademy @TheFIREorg @speechunion @ARPAcanada @CIJAinfo @bnaibrithcanada @nationalpost @JohnIvison open.substack.com/pub/paulfinlay…

“There is no business case” for East Coast LNG - Justin Trudeau, immediately following Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine. This must stand as one of the most flagrantly stupid remarks ever made by a Canadian Prime Minister. Everyone in politics says dumb things from time to time. I sure did. The problem is that this dumb statement reflected government policy, based on an astonishing blend of energy, economic, and geopolitical illiteracy. Mark Carney was elected on the premise of being literate on energy, the economy, and geopolitics. On the promise of getting big things done “faster than ever,” of making Canada “an energy superpower,” of becoming the “fastest growing economy in the G7.” So get on with it already. Eastern Canadian provinces are increasingly positive on gas production and exports, eg Nova Scotia lifting its ridiculous gas production ban. There is a growing shift back to energy realism in Quebec politics. Enough consultations, meetings, and triangulating energy politics. Embrace East Coast LNG as a moon shot project, with war time urgency. Prove that Canada can once again do big things quickly, while making Canada wealthier, and helping the world achieve energy security.

Qatar's LNG is offline for 3-5 years The US was already building the replacement North America's LNG export capacity could more than double by 2029. This chart was drawn before the war. Now it looks like a strategic masterplan ♟️ Projects coming online 2026-2029: 🇺🇸 Plaquemines — already ramping 🇺🇸 Corpus Christi Stage III — coming 🇺🇸 Golden Pass — Exxon/QatarEnergy joint venture 🇨🇦 LNG Canada — first Canadian exports 🇺🇸 Port Arthur — major capacity 🇺🇸 Rio Grande — massive scale 🇺🇸 CP2 Phase 1 — next wave 🇺🇸 Woodside Louisiana LNG — 2029 From 11 bcf/day today to 28+ bcf/day by 2029. Ras Laffan produced 10 bcf/day. Now offline for 3-5 years minimum. The gap is enormous. The US filling it is inevitable. Every desperate LNG buyer (China, Japan, Korea, India, Europe ) now has one supplier capable of scaling at this speed. 🇺🇸 America. Iran accidentally handed the US permanent LNG dominance. This chart is the proof🛢️⚡

Some of you still seem to think oil is only used for gasoline for light duty vehicles, because that’s the only time you’ve physically encountered it. Expensive and scarce oil is an omnicrisis for the global economy. It cannot be replaced by electrons from solar panels.

@Romanugs27 @ExnerPirot The exact opposite is happening in Canada since Carney became PM. If a company thought they could make money, they would have stepped up. Maybe the Alberta govt who is going to benefit the most from any pipeline should start the process to encourage partners to join them.

“It’s not enough for Mr. Carney to sign the pipeline memorandum and leave it at that. More needs to be done to create the conditions to get the private sector to the table and start building, so Mr. Carney can achieve his stated goal of turning Canada into an energy superpower. The spike in oil prices due to the war in the Middle East is a reminder about the continued critical role of the energy sector.” theglobeandmail.com/gift/2d737d3a9…

This should have been on the front page of The New York Times. I’ve spoken with students in America. Most have no idea that more than 32,000 unarmed, people have been killed for demanding freedom in Iran. Hundreds more are on death row, waiting to be hanged. 💔 Thank you, New York Post.

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

So true. @PierrePoilievre is intelligent, thoughtful and down to earth. That’s the Pierre we’ve all known for years: a Prime Minister in waiting whose time can’t come soon enough. When Canada will experience the bold policy changes that will turn our economy around and set us on a path to prosperity.
Lyle Stewart@LyleStewart55

Many Canadians if they watch Pierre Poilievre’s interviews with Joe Rogan in Texas and Bloomberg in New York will find out the MSM in Canada, the Liberal marketing team, has been absolutely lying to them about Pierre!

As another man who once worked with me declares himself saddened by my beliefs on gender and sex, I thought it might be useful to compile a list for handy reference. Which of the following do you imagine makes actors and directors who aren’t involved with the HBO reboot of Harry Potter so miserable? Is it my belief that women and girls should have their own public changing rooms and bathrooms? That women should retain female-only rape crisis centres? That men don’t belong in women’s sport? That female prisoners shouldn’t be incarcerated with violent men and male sex offenders? That women should remain a protected class in law, because they have sex-specific needs and issues? That language should reflect reality rather than ideological jargon, especially in a medical context? That women shouldn’t be harassed, persecuted or fired for refusing to pretend humans can change sex? That women should not be threatened with violence and rape when they assert their rights? That freedom of speech and belief are essential to a pluralistic democratic society? That troubled minors, especially those who are gay, autistic and trauma-experienced, should be given mental health support instead of irreversible surgeries and drug treatments on non-existent evidence of benefit? That gay people shouldn’t be pressured to include the opposite sex in their dating pools, nor should they be smeared as ‘genital fetishists’ when they don’t? That cross-dressing heterosexual male fetishists aren’t actually oppressed, but having the time of their lives piggybacking off gender identity ideology? That said ideology, and the privileged, blinkered fools pushing it because they suffer zero consequences themselves, have done more damage to the political left’s credibility than Trump and Farage could have achieved in a century? Let me have your thoughts.

Today Iran revealed its missiles can reach Paris, London, and Berlin. Pierre Poilievre said it plainly long ago: stopping this genocidal regime would be a gift to humanity. He understood the threat. Many still don’t.

Q: Do you not agree with Joe Biden in his assessment on Israel and Iran? 🇨🇦 Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre: “I think if Israel were to stop that genocidal, theocratic, unstable dictatorship from acquiring nuclear weapons, it would be a gift by the Jewish State to humanity.”

I have said it for years: Canada will not regulate itself into prosperity. It’s time to build. In the midst of grave global instability, Canada needs a real economic boost and this new report shows exactly where it can come from. New oil pipelines and the production to fill them could generate about $31 billion a year for Canada. Read Chris Varcoe’s full analysis here: calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…
