To those 'friends of Rayner' who claimed our report was false, @DPJHodges has now written about his own eyewitness account of what he saw in Strangers - And why it might give Labour MPs pause for thought...
(((Dan Hodges)))@DPJHodges

I was in Stranger's Bar on Monday night. The reports about Angela Rayner are true. If the choice facing the Labour Party is between her and Keir Starmer, they must stick with Starmer > Daily Mail > dailymail.com/debate/article…

@SeanWill92 Yes, I live in the real world, and go out and about in it, rather than hiding scared in my house pretending the country is being overtaken by forruns and thinking all the bullshit spouted on twitter by rascists is actually real.

29-minute wait for a train between our capital city and our biggest town. 😵‍💫 Cheers Transport for Wales. Country is broken and it isn't immigration that broke it.

My father was Jewish. My grandfather was Jewish. My paternal family were all Jewish. They came here in 1900s from Lodz in Poland to escape the pograms. I only found this out later in life. But this family history means a lot. It is part of me. The current atmosphere in this country where antisemitism is so widespread hurts. It is frightening. The fact that we have political parties that not only turn a blind eye to this but seemingly welcome these racists into their parties is sickening. This is why the Greens and Plaid Cymru would never ever get my vote.

@Educationm58133 @bobbankvillage Even if that money was spent on the NHS/elderly, the same people moaning now, would be moaning that the NHS would just waste it or the elderly getting the money are the wrong colour!

@bobbankvillage Reform did not attack sports clubs! They queried why Wales has spent millions on solar panels for a sports centre rather than on the NHS or the elderly! Net zero shite comes before the people of Wales!

@ceritheviking The question should be framed as would you prefer £X billion going to the monarchy, or to funding the NHS, Schools, Govt spending etc.

@Bluebird19273 @ConorGogarty Isn't that down to the UK govt, and them making sure all the money/funding for the high skilled jobs goes to the south east, Cambridge etc. So Wales just gets manufacturing and call centres.

@ConorGogarty Low skill work we are better off without, but the welsh govt has no plan on how to create high skill job growth, and thatbis the fundemental issue

NEW: One of Cardiff's biggest employers is set to make sweeping lay-offs. Car finance firm MotoNovo is planning to cut more than 100 jobs and replace a big chunk of its Cardiff workforce with staff in India and Malaysia In 2016 the firm received £3m from the Welsh Government...

@fluxboi @SimonHarrisMBD Exactly. And it's a well known fact that Tesco Extras only have 20 staff each (and no staff that just work weekends) so it's the only time off they get.

@SimonHarrisMBD I don’t understand why we insist on treating shop workers different to any other worker? The whole of the hospitality industry is open more than 6 hours on a Sunday. Emergency workers? Those keeping the power going?

Other times you could have done the big shop to avoid the period when many hard-working supermarket staff enjoy time off either with their loved ones or just by themselves: Mon 0600 - 0000 Tue 0600 - 0000 Wed 0600 - 0000 Thu 0600 - 0000 Fri 0600 - 0000 Sat 0600 - 0000
Tom Harwood@tomhfh

I’m just back to London after a weekend away with my family. A busy week ahead, so now is the perfect time to go and do the big weekly shop. Thanks to politicians not understanding how family life actually works I now have precisely 20 minutes before the shop shuts. It’s not going to happen.

I had the thought earlier that with Leicester tanking this year like Cardiff did last year, I wonder if it’s inevitable that they get linked with BBM, who would presumably not have any interest, but has links there and has just achieved the goal that they will be aiming for

We could really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really do with at least one of McNally and Nott being available 🙏
Simon Thomas Rugby@simonrug

Cardiff are sweating on the fitness of second rows Josh McNally (hamstring) and George Nott (hip) ahead of Saturday’s big URC derby clash at the Scarlets. Fellow lock Teddy Williams is still a few weeks away from returning. Flanker James Botham back available

Think because we haven’t won the league people will forget the accomplishment achieved here. 15 players left in the summer with only 4 coming in (3 on loan) rest coming from within the academy. This has some achievement and shouldn’t be underestimated
Paul Gronow@bluebirdblogger

"I think there would have been a lot of doubts about myself, the club [at the start of the season], I think it's easy to forget. The perception of the club in pre-season was of a club that wasn't very stable or wasn't very settled or didn't have a real clear identity. "The players have transformed that, and the supporters have fuelled it with their energy." Credit: @BBCSportWales

Welsh Government has seen off a legal challenge from Bristol Airport over its £205m subsidy plans for Cardiff Airport (which it owns). Judgment knocked back Bristol's four points that it beached the Subsidy Control Act. Bristol can appeal, but WG will be seeking costs.

@mjccfc Exactly, any other team in this division with the injuries / set backs Cardiff has had will be a lot lower believe me. Salech, Colwill, Tanner, Robertson, Davies all out for substantial periods of time. People forget that

First time on here for a while and cannot believe what I am reading from some people in regards to BBM. - We would be in a lot worse place if certain people stayed in charge. - It’s BBM first season as head coach of a promotion chasing team there will be blips. (1/2)
