@jmagav @steadyriot I think on the player side it makes sense to bridge and go into two long-term deals if they want to take a risk for more $ But on the team side it’s easier to sign a player to another long term deal at 27/28 rather than 30. Kind of like Tuch right now

@steadyriot @Sabremetrix I’m pretty sure the new CBA doesn’t allow for 8, but not certain. I thought that changed. Either way, I am fine with either, there’s just an argument to be made there

@jmagav @Sabremetrix I'd do 8 now tbh. Gets him to 29. Finagling an extra 2 years out of it doesn't seem worth it when an 8 year contract gets you through most, if not all of his prime.

@steadyriot @Sabremetrix Correct, but a 2-3 year bridge gets him to a resigning before 25. So you either do 7 now or 2 now and 7 later which makes that next deal either 28 or 30/31
