Trump related to the January 6, 2021 protests. The case involves a man called Joseph Fischer, who was indicted on seven charges for his alleged role in the Capitol protests on January 6, 2021. NOTE: Reports say the central question is "whether the government can charge defendants under a federal law that criminalizes corruptly obstructing an official congressional proceeding." NOTE: This is so massively important that the Supreme Court's decision, expected in June, could impact Trump's trial, potentially limit charges against him, and overturn all or most convictions of his supporters involved in the Capitol protests.
