docker builds are annoying to make reproducible that's true, but it's up on the developer of a given app to make it the case, otherwise people won't be able to confirm it. just use sha digests as the tag and then you balling. also, it just needs to be reproducible on the same machine that will run it

Are nix builds for TEEs a thing? How else do you do it ?

@hackerdocc Right, but how can i trust that the image does what you say it does? I thought the whole idea was that i can check the source code, and then reproduce the build.

I have still not found a good way to leverage claude to automate setting up a new part of the codebase and establish good patterns & building blocks for itself. It has very poor taste and tends to write code using patterns that are very terse & brittle.

Claude needs a "debug prompt" mode where it takes in my prompt & chat history with claude as a 3rd person and helps me understand why the inner claude didn't do what I expected it to. Whenever I ask claude directly it just gives me excuses / bad prompt tips.

Why do there seem to be so few serious people these days?

It is practically impossible to teach good programming to devs that have had a prior exposure to golang: as potential programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration
