@JJ_Denhollander Right! The best counsellors I had was one who intimately loved Jesus, but was also highly qualified in the psychology of trauma amongst other things! She paired the 2 worlds into one paradigm and it paved the way for the Holy Spirit to truly heal

@BeccaLindenbach We have this book & really like it, but only in conjunction w/ all the other Bible stories, books, & our own testimonies we have/give that give the full picture. If I was only using this book, it would be a problem, but as just a small part of their overall discipleship, it’s ok

The biggest shift in my faith happened when I read Kevin Deyoung's ABC Bible for kids. The word "love" doesn't appear until the very last page. And it's about how God will let those who love Him into Zion.
