@palmtreegeordie @SkySports_Keith @worflags @SkySportsPL They cut away to ads having shown the Civic centre for a split second
English

@fpl_tactician You're going to end up needing at least two of your bench Andy
English

@OfficialFPL Had 2FT, used one to bring in Thiaw, and didn't bother bringing in Harry Wilson. WC32 can't happen soon enough
English

@FPL_Harry My 32 team is OK as it stands (with 2FT) but I think I'll be playing the chip to do BB33.

English

@fpl_tactician Do you know, I genuinely took this as you taking the mick and encouraging people to accidentally wildcard a day early and in GW31.
Just checked the site and it's a Friday deadline 😅
English

@aj_mads @BoroMundo Sir Jack Hayward
Jack Walker
Dave Whelan
Marcus Evans
Ellis Short
Five for starters.
English

@joeboss87 @BoroMundo To date he's written most of that money off, who else do you think would..
A: do that.
B: generate that income from elsewhere.
English

@FPL_Harry What's with the sudden shift to WC35? I love a late first wildcard but it's a bit late even for me (without a BB36)
English

@paddypower Spurs are blatantly going to go through just for the comedy value
English

@aj_mads @BoroMundo Over a period of what, 30 years?
My point is they could spend that again this summer (if promoted) and still come nowhere close to surviving.
Appreciate they've had one season in the PL in 15 years, but the Alfonso Alves money would barely pay for a backup full back these days
English

@joeboss87 @BoroMundo This has blown me away
"restrained spending habit of a lifetime"
He's sunk £200m of his own money Boro.
English

@bengreggles @airz1879 @TheDB30 Blyth Spartans don't pull huge numbers either (appreciate a smaller town). Don't claim to have the answers to fix it, but as ticket prices keep increasing at NUFC/SAFC, perhaps it'll help the non league scene grow longer term
English

@joeboss87 @airz1879 @TheDB30 Gateshead's ground is absolutely shite which I think has an impact, got to be one of the worst match going experiences in the country. Shame because I think there's definitely a niche for them up here
English

Durham. Given the size of the place you’d expect them to have a team at least on par with the likes of Gateshead and Darlington
Out of Context Football Manager@nocontextfm1
What's a big city that doesn't have a big football club?
English

@airz1879 @TheDB30 Agreed. Lived in NE 20 years, after same in East Mids/South Yorkshire.
Gateshead's population is double that of Chesterfield, but ~1000 through turnstiles vs 8000.
There are Derby, United, Wednesday etc. fans in Chesterfield too. Suppose Town have a much longer league history.
English

@TheDB30 Tbf I’ve wondered that also why the north east in general doesn’t have more teams at least higher non league teams when you look at the north west or the midlands
