@SouthernRailUK Why is the first train from Vic in am Sun only four carriages? Surely this should be 8 or 12 and sorted overnight? I don't think all stranded passengers have been able to get on at Clapham Junction and lots of tired people standing on the train.

It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Purley and Gatwick Airport. All lines are blocked between these stations whilst the emergency services work to deal with this incident. Service information will follow.
