@CinemaTweets1 Dont underestimate the academy. Theres gonna be some foreign movie that gets a ton of hype, probably a liberal one too (black stuff, gays, whatever). Many of us may feel that Odyssey and Dune are the no brainer best pics, but the academy will find some others to swoon over.

Between The Odyssey & Dune: Part 3, I don’t see any other films really squeezing in the Best Picture race. The early word from a few folks I’ve seen who’ve already caught The Odyssey is that it’s sunning & exceeds the Nolan-hype. If that’s the case, we might have ourselves a historic battle for this year’s Oscar for Best Picture. Denis Villeneuve honestly can’t catch a break.

Owning a home is a money pit. If someone tells you otherwise, they’re lying to you. I’ve lost track of how much I’ve invested in my yard, AC system, air filters, plumbing repairs, water filtration, bidet filters, mold repair, painting, fence replacement, etc. Be warned!

We know someone who paid $390k for a home in 2020. They have a 30 year, 3.75% mortgage & home is now worth ~$550,000. They're outgrowing their home & need more space but buying a new home would 2-3x their housing costs. They feel trapped & millions are in this situation.

Ron Howard used to be a director capable of making #Oscar caliber films like A Beautiful Mind. What the hell happened? And don’t you dare accuse me of “hating for clicks”, I’m genuinely asking- when was the last time Ron Howard made a great film? It’s felt like an eternity.

@Masterflip_ I’d make that deal in a heartbeat. Sproat is the most expendable of the prospect pitchers, Jett has no place on this roster in the near future, and Peterson is erratic and on his final year before FA and I don’t think we’re signing him unless it’s very team friendly.
