I'm getting my hot tub costs down. Here's the honest numbers. All include sales tax. Refurbished Bullfrog spa (incl. steps and cover and lift and tax) $4233.00 River Rock (60 bags) $711.47 Redwood 4x4 timbers $147.78 All electrical components (includes wire, spa disconnect, various odds and ends) $619.73 2 joints 1.5 inch PVC pipe (to roll hot tub off the trailer and get it in position) $21.26 Grand total cost (not including my priceless labor) $5733.24 Compared to my first one (which was a little over 10K with the $2500 deck I built to set it on) my second one was WAY cheaper and just as nice. Main difference was the site. The new house has a level yard, which made the job way faster and cheaper.
