@UnkWerks @YaseminCak64971 Offline split screen. I don't care about the online co-op, if 2 people on the same console want to sit down and casually play through the campaign it should not require 2 paid subs, or even 2 MS linked accounts.

The vast majority of online games progression is tied to a 3rd party publisher account not a PlayStation network account… but that design has nothing to do with Sony’s policy of requiring multiple PSN subscriptions to do split screen online. You’re arguing about Xbox’s ripe apples in a conversation about Sony’s rotten oranges.

Games usually only require one sub to be paid, the other can be a free account. I looked up Helldivers, and only 1 had to be a paid account. Are there other couch co-op games that require 2 paid accounts?

@YaseminCak64971 They could develop the game to save the progression to the PS5/PSN. Like 99% of other game devs, and how games worked for decades before. They chose to require the game progression to be on the Microsoft account. So they picked this route knowing PS's also stupid policies.

I doubt every other PS5 game with couch co-op requires 2 PS+ subscriptions for OFFLINE play. 100% on Microsoft, guessing they messed up in requiring the account linking for each player.

@tarkov I don't think the points were recorded correctly. Pretty sure the last raids I watched for Peanut & Gimmick didn't get added to their scores, I could be wrong. Not that it really matters, but makes me question the rest of the scores. Any spawn variety would make this more fun.

(Event holder said its ok to share) The HUNGER GAMES event is a competitive game show featuring unique spawn, loot, and combat mechanics, inspired by The Hunger Games film and the battle royale genre Date: 19, 20 and 21 June 2026 Time: 17:00–21:00 MSK Servers: Private Accounts: Tournament accounts Prize pool: None Location: Woods Day time raid only About the Event Players spawn on the Woods location, in the center of the map (near the "Junction" BTR stop), close to one another and without any gear. A total of 15 players spawn in the raid. The raid duration is 30 minutes. At the start of the raid, every player is affected by a debuff called "Unknown Toxin". The toxin will kill the player after 300 seconds. Using an xTG-12 antidote extends the death timer. Extraction becomes available 10 minutes after the raid begins and is only accessible at a single location: the Pier at the Sawmill. Main objective The objective of the event is to fight other players, bosses, and their guards, while also searching the map for xTG-12 antidotes to extend survival time. Players earn points through their actions and progress up the leaderboard throughout the event.
