Boston is going to sign another player to a 10 Day deal today, to meet the 14-player roster minimum rules. After that, expect another period with a short roster, as Boston tries to squeeze as many days as possible, while staying under the tax, before filling out the roster to 15.

@KeithSmithNBA Ah gotcha I see, so by signing 15 by end of season that deal is prorated against the cap based on time left in the season, thus allowing them to squeeze it under?

@joesim68 They'll time things out until they have enough room under the tax to fill out the roster. So, 10 days, probably a 14-day short-roster period, then 10 days again, then rest-of-season signings for spots 13 and 14. Then a final season near the end of the league year for spot 15.
