Oh the little worlds where we live. I am at the dentist office with my wife, who is having a tooth pulled. There's a TV with a pretty good action movie playing in the waiting room. Everyone has his or her eyes glued to their smartphones. Can you say no attention span?

So #GalaxyS26Ultra is out of the box and set up. I already have a potential deal breaker. I always carry my phones bareback. ALWAYS. The extra weight of the new camera bump makes the phone unbalanced to hold; top heavy. Back is slicker, too. Drop risk: worrisome; elevated.

Let me see if I understand the #Samsung #GalaxyS26Ultra privacy display. The tech makes seeing the display from an angle difficult. But isn't that where we started with these panels? Then came the benefit of seeing clearly edge to edge. So that previous problem is now a solution?

@joewilcox Isolated youth with limited economic opportunity is the core problem. Add online groups and others pushing radicalized messages with the means & ease to act out is a recipe for these acts. These factors are moving in the wrong direction today so expect this trend to continue.

#MentalHealth is the populist cause du jour for recent #GunViolence . But I see a clearer commonality: Age. Historical median age for mass shooters is 37. HOWEVER, since 2020: 22. These killers are young, like #CharlieKirk killer. We should all ask why and how, and why now.

People excuse comic criticism that makes them laugh. #JimmyKimmel stopped being funny ages ago. Pulling the show isn't about #FreeSpeech or the #FirstAmendment, which applies to government. #ABC made a business decision after a major affiliate dropped the show in 32 markets.

Sooo, I am with my daughter at @WarbyParker for her contacts and glasses, and the sales rep pulls out a @Google #pixelbook to process the transaction. Wow! She praises the #chromebook, too (as did I). What? No iPad? No MacBook? Eat that, #Apple.

We gave up cable ages ago and get the most value from @YouTube Premium. It's throwback Thursday: #fireballxl5, #stingray, #captainscarlet, #thunderbirds, and more. #Supermarionation, baby! Vintage 1960s cheesy #scifi. Thank-you, #UK!

#Google should have learned from the #Microsoft #antitrust case. If you have massive market power, don't enter into exclusive agreements, especially if they extend monopoly into an adjacent market. Trustbusters will come for you and courts will find you violated the Sherman Act.

While no lawyer, I have some insight into #antitrust law from covering the #Microsoft case (for #CNET) decades ago. Regarding today's ruling: Similarly, the judge found that #Google used exclusive contracts to maintain monopoly. #Apple should be wary of its agreements, too.

So is this a coup? While Biden is sick with Covid, he is withdrawn? And if the Harris camp were involved, Democrats would be inclined to get behind her rather than create more chaos through admission. She would be a compromised candidate, at best, and you can speculate about the worse.
