@FStrudel76322 @houlihan_rick @jonkarl Iran has done a fair job at controlling the strait the past couple weeks without an AF. As has been shown, firms will pay the toll and pass on costs. The war provided Iran with a very lucrative rev stream that consumers will ultimately absorb. I don’t think this is over though.

This morning, I asked President Trump if he’s okay with the Iranians charging a toll for all ships that go through the Strait of Hormuz, he told me there may be a Joint US-Iran venture to charge tolls:

USC got the excuse they wanted not to play Notre Dame. They looked at their 2026 schedule and were shaking in their boots.

When you’re a full and committed member of an elite conference like USC/BIG, you no longer need semi committed rivals from weaker conferences. Trojans were increasingly making the bigger sacrifice.

Since Lincoln Riley took charge at USC, 16 schools have made the CFP (2022-24).
Assume first-timers make up half the '25 field, that pushes the total to 22 ... none of them the Trojans.
Crazy that over the entire CFP era, Indiana would make it twice before USC made it once.
