Yeah - it's just at that price you need to have a high level of confidence she can reproduce that similar figure from last time. The tempo of this race doesn't look helter skelter, although it will probably end up a little keen. But that setup doesn't look massive for her to repeat that kind of number. She had a big tempo setup to run that time figure last time out. And in those conditions, past time figures are less relevant. Unless she's really adept in slow to heavy conditions, I think it much more likely that something with a good map that handles the track will beat her home.

It just seems typical of the current betting landscape having Sheza Alibi between $1.8 and $2 across the board with the corporate bookmakers. She has that brilliant last start rating, which - at the weights today - stands out. But as good as she has been, none of her prior runs were strong enough to win this race, even with 49kg. Shez also never seen worse than a Dead track. Win, lose or draw, it looks fraught with danger to me.

Please keep praying for my son. He’s 23 and has been fighting cancer since 2020. After chemo and surgery, we thought he was getting better—but now there are four new tumors in his lung. The specialist recommends stem cell treatment and two more rounds of chemo. Beyond that, the outlook isn’t good. My heart is shattered. I just need him to beat this.
