@sir_chris39710 @yeripros @NigeriaNDCHQ What capacity had Ireti Kingibe when he won FCT? Can Grandma Pam excite Urban voters? Have do your mapping of demography of voters that supports Obi and you think they will support Pam? Aisha is a national brand that helps to build national momentum for Obi not that Grandma.

LET US BE HONEST! This woman, Barr. Amanda Pam is far more rooted in FCT politics over the years than Aisha Yesufu. She knows her way around FCT voters. Go and read her profile or CV. While I support Aisha Yesufu's ambition and the Obidient sensation also backs her drive, it is important to state that Amanda Pam may win Aisha in a direct primaries; not for anything else but because of the fact that Amanda Pam came early into the party and has established party structures in FCT as well as facilitated reasonable membership registration. The fact that we like Aisha Yesufu doesn't mean we should cast aspersions on other Aspirants who don't fall within our emotional orbit. You don't even know the capacity of this woman but you want to crucify her for vying for the same ticket with your celebrity. A young party like the NDC cannot survive this individualistic approach most of you are promoting. It's either you support the party or you go elsewhere. By Thursday or Friday, we would know who has been given a ticket or not.

@yeripros @john_isi @NigeriaNDCHQ 2027 is about candidates who can win not candidates who are banking on PO to win... we need candidates who will comb every wards and polling units to campaign. We don't need candidates who will stop at metropolis.

This is ex-Sheikh Isa Pantami cursing the PDP in 2013 when he was still hustling for relevance in the APC. Today, he’s participating in the PDP gubernatorial primaries after losing out on the APC ticket to Dr. Jamilu Gwamna This life no balance

@SodiqTade A party with more than 5,000 aspirants across various positions? You are wrong. NDC has more structure and more coverage than LP in 2022. Wait until the campaign starts or go to the field to sample unbiased opinion or conduct a pool here you will massive the momentum is.

I'm sorry to say but ADC looks like the only opposition party with momentum right now. Quite disappointed that Obi's move to NDC failed to give the party a momentum unlike the 2022 Labour Party move. Fatigue or people have clocked him? We continue to observe.

@NigeriaNDCHQ Please note that Sen. Henry Seriake does not have the legal authority to inaugurate the selection committee. If the Party Chairman cannot perform such duty on account of being a member of the committee then the National Legal Adviser should do so

I see alot of Obidients try to criticise Governor Seyi Makinde on account of governance. The fact is Governor Seyi Makinde has done well in terms of governance. Even the worst of Governor Seyi Makinde's critics have said that he has done well. We have seen the quality of roads and infrastructures he has done in Oyo State. I thought you Obidients said "it is the turn of the South". The same you Obidients are fixated that Jonathan want to contest, the same you Obidients are fixated that Governor Seyi Makinde want to contest. You people don't want any Southerner to contest aside Peter Obi. Many of you Obidients are showing extremists tendencies. This is democracy. If you want a coronation, tell us. You say you want democracy but you are not willing to practise the tenets of democracy. Governor Seyi Makinde has every right to contest, however it looks like. Saying he should not contest, is the height of hypocrisy. You will run Atiku down. You will run Jonathan down. You will run Amaechi down. You will run Governor Seyi Makinde down. Why? Some of us will speak against it. Some of us will stand against it. You said it is Southern turn. Any Southerner that wants to contest let him contest. Anybody that does not like it should go and tell Peter Obi to go back to his village in Onitsha. This pattern of warning aspirants to step aside for Peter Obi is nonsense. That was how Obaze was warning a whole Jonathan to step aside for Peter Obi. Anybody that wants to support candidate of his or her choice, you coerce them, you abuse them, you malign them. You even go as far as even wanting to destroy their businesses. It is nonsense. Seyi has my full support. Any Southerner that wants to contest should come out and contest. We will defeat this hypocrisy on the timeline. It will not stand.

@excobad87249 @iamHSDickson Dear Mr X, until Peter Obi becomes the party flag bearer, Kwakwaso's name should be mentioned before him going by Federal order and seniority. It is a standard protocol and has political undertones. Please disable that thought.

Today, I had the pleasure of receiving members of the House of Representatives who recently decamped to the NDC. They paid a courtesy visit to interact with me and the leadership of our party. We were also delighted to have in attendance, first, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and later, His Excellency Peter Obi, who joined us. I thank them for their support for the party and for the loyalty they demonstrated in following their leader to the NDC. They are on the right course, and the NDC remains committed to building a united and democratic Nigeria for all. I urged them to continue to uphold the democratic rights of the Nigerian people and to resist every attempt to entrench a one-party state in our country. They should remain steadfast in supporting the party while continuing to work closely with their leaders and constituents in service to the people. I also received my former colleague from Gombe State, Senator Col. Amos Bulus (Rtd), and his team, who joined us from the APC. In the same vein, Prince Yahaya Audu led a delegation from Kogi State and was warmly received. It was a pleasure for His Excellency Peter Obi to join me in welcoming Col. Bulus, Prince Audu, and their team members into the NDC family. We also received the donation of a vehicle from the Delta State chapter of the NDC. I thank the donors, as well as all those who, since the launch of this party, have continued to support the NDC through various donations and contributions. May God replenish their resources abundantly. I also call on other Nigerians of goodwill to continue to support the party. The NDC is not funded by any single individual or by any government. Our party is sustained by the sacrifice, commitment, and contributions of members and supporters who believe in our vision for a better Nigeria. ~HSD

APC Screening Panel Clears 33 Rivers Assembly Aspirants, Disqualifies 65 Over Irregularities, Bribery Allegation The All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee for the Rivers State House of Assembly has cleared 33 aspirants to participate in the party primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections, while 65 others were disqualified over various irregularities ranging from invalid documentation to alleged bribery attempts. In its report submitted to the party leadership, the committee said the screening exercise was conducted in line with the APC constitution, electoral guidelines, and provisions of the Electoral Act. The panel disclosed that some aspirants were denied clearance for reasons including failure to present voters cards, submission of unsworn affidavits, irregular party membership details, conflicting dates of birth, and inability to confirm payment of party dues by nominators. The committee also revealed that an aspirant, Tonye Garrick Tom-George, allegedly attempted to improperly influence members of the panel by presenting an envelope containing money alongside his passport photograph, an incident said to have been reported to the police. The report further stated that petitions were received against several aspirants over allegations that their nominations were endorsed by party members who were not financially up to date with the APC, contrary to Article 9.3 of the party constitution. The screening panel, chaired by Rt. Hon. Muraina Ajibola, noted that despite isolated incidents, the exercise remained largely peaceful and orderly, commending aspirants, party officials, and security operatives for their cooperation throughout the process.

@bummiearo @Magixlamy_ That is your new wish no longer that he will contest primary against Peter Obi. So Peter Obi and Dickson will now accept his nominee because they are fools, right? Then 2031 Kwakwaso will then expect the support of the Obidient. You see how st-u-pid you sound.
