I know it’s really hard but if you’re in a position to do it, please try extra harder to buy your coffee/scone/treat from a small cafe and not one of the chain stores. You might think that your few bob won’t make a difference but believe me, it’s the difference of small family run cafes and coffee/corner shops staying open next year. It’s soul destroying seeing so many places close their doors already and the worst yet is to come.

This beautiful woman brought me into the world 55 years ago today! 2.5 years later she left home with nothing and reared me on her own. Her Mother died from TB when she was a baby and she grew up with her adoring grandparents. A testament to “love is all you need”. 💕💕
