If you sell on eBay don't ship your cards like this. Bare minimum should be penny sleeve and card saver. Top loader preferred. You go cheap, you will end up with many returns/refunds. @CardPurchaser
Things that make me go hmmm in the hobby.
“How a graded card of a 9 can ever be worth less than the raw card I will never understand. ”
SMH..
I know, I know , it’s just how the hobby is right now , but it shouldn’t be. Do you agree?
@CardPurchaser
@Getmossed1305 For me it doesn't matter what card it is. Also doesn't matter to me what the top loader looks like. I have a shit ton of yellow ones I use to ship, buyer can change it when it arrives.
@D3GSolutions I wouldn't be able to go check until this afternoon. I've only done dealings on here a few times but if needed I could one of those guys vouch for me.
@natsturner@PSAcard this card from @AskeBay was authenticated on 1/20 and has been “going to the vault” since; the issue was “escalated” last week but still no resolution and no response to my follow up inquiries in several days; need a resolution ASAP @CardPurchaser
Beckett has surged in items graded recently, up 117% last week according to @gemrate. Beckett's also up 171% amongst TCG and and non-sport items.
Do you think this trend will continue following PSA's increased prices and turnaround times? Did that news affect your grading strategy at all?
Paid for item on 31st.. Messaged seller 4 times about when hes shipping with no response and its obv hes not ... Asked to cancel and it got declined by ebay.. Told to file a not received claim on the 11th... So damn stupid @CardPurchaser
@CardPurchaser bought a phoenix preferred hobby box from @Target - received two prizm blasters. What would you do? Trading cards are non-refundable so I’m out $100 as of now. Will try to go in store. Curious if this has happened to anyone else?
@THEDavidMarcus@CardPurchaser Yes, the real collectors miss out while the rippers and flippers inflate prices. Not blaming all breakers but they are the ones that caused the boom and the prices how they are today.
@johnbevans@CardPurchaser The hobby is supposed to be just having cards of modern players. Now it’s all about chasing parallels and numbered cards and autos. The love of the game is gone to people trying to profit.
