In both situations, the player was trying to save possession before realizing a foul had been called. In both situations, the player who threw the ball got a tech. As bad as the call may have been when you factor in intent, it seems pretty consistent to me.

I think the burden of proof is on you as to why languages would go away, particularly since they have not thus far, even within the Spirit-filled and indwelled church.
