@Dylan_Oakes Thank you for the education! When I tweeted we didn’t know exactly what happened. The runway was in sight and all of the sudden we lifted back up with no announcement for 5 minutes.

Very strange - our flight just tried to land at DCA and as we were close to touching down, we lifted back up again.

.@AmericanAir is honestly the worst airline in the USA and it’s not even close. So far in 2026, they’ve CANCELLED 3 of the 7 flights I booked on them and not ONE left within an hour of on time. They just cancelled my sons flight out of MIA back to school, and best they could do is WEDS NIGHT!! Wont refund his ticket either! Buying a B6 ticket out of FLL now. Better safe than sorry. Our plane smelled like (electrical smoke). our pilot started getting dizzy and had to put oxygen on. We turned around and landed back in Charlotte now. Fire crew and emt chasing us down the runway. Right out of the movies 😳

@IceIceBrand0n @TheFigen_ As an aircraft mechanic. We never “duct tape” (speed tape) to save money. It’s normally due to lack of parts at a location or paint peeling and sometimes to cover missing sealant. Doing paint is a time consuming job.

@TheFigen_ Little does he know that the airline company prolly duct taped 5 different things in order to save on the maintenance budget & increase their stock price. Couldn't pay me to get on an airplane. Absolutely the fuck not. I'll stick to the train.
