@HouseOfHorrorCo I see so many comments about "the original" being better and people not liking that Victor was the true monster. The "original" film was not very accurate to the book whatsoever. So if you don't like the humans being the monsters than Frankenstein isn't your story.

@jpalmiotti Agree!! 1000%. There have been very few soft rewrites that have benefited high-profile characters. Byrne's Man of Steel is one of the best. Otherwise, it usually feels like grifting or subverting expectations... which we have way too much of in today's pop culture.

Every time you rewrite the characters in comics timeline, each time you weaken the characters and lose some fans.
